[Technique] I decided to recycle our christmas tree this year. It's coco coir and all the branches, super surprised it's all fit into 7 jars. It was a Mt. Hemlock pine. I'm going to try growing Lions Mane and maybe an Oyster strain I'll keep everyone updated.
Crater Lake’s “Old Man”. A Hemlock stump that has managed to remain upright as it floats around Oregon’s Crater Lake for about the last 450 years. Can’t imagine how many people have posed just like that on this old tree.

The 110ºF heat burned the leaves of a lot of our plants today, including this young Hemlock tree. All these needles were green yesterday. Now it smells like a dried out Christmas tree.

Found this old eastern hemlock that fell in the forest and rooted itself into the ground through the ground side of the tree. All the branches have kinks where they started growing straight up and becoming independent trees. Almost like it knew it's species was going extinct... reddit.com/gallery/mlc89p

300-400 year old Hemlock tree. Some of the largest and oldest trees on the East coast can be found in Heart's Content in the Allegheny National Forest.
