A list of puns related to "Executive Director"
Hi! Iβm Todd Howard, Game Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios. I'm part of an incredible team of people who work on The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and the upcoming Starfield.
To celebrate Skyrimβs 10th anniversary, I'm here today to chat with you all. Though I havenβt posted on the internet in 15 years, I read Reddit often, and love the community. Thanks for being here and for all the support youβve given our games over the years.
Excited to hear whatβs on your mind, letβs get started!

A few years ago I worked at a large science company. I had initially been hired, 9 years prior to this story, for $12.50 an hour as an entry level technician. Over the 9 years I advanced fairly rapidly. I got an MBA and that put me on a management track. I thought that finally the company would do right by me for all of my hard work and give me a bump to a salary that met my level of responsibility.
The problem, according to them, was the company had this rule about % increases when you get promoted. There was a cap. So by the time I was a senior manager I was behind my peers who had joined at that level by about $30k a year.
So finally, I get offered an associate director position and I'm thinking that they're finally going to do right by me and give me the bump I need to be in line with other associate directors. When I get the offer it is substantially lower than expected and it cut my bonus potential by 5%. When I put all the numbers into excel it meant that to take the job I would actually lose money...fuck me.
So I get all my info together, my salary, the offer, industry standard pay for the position and present it to the recruiter. She says she'll take my argument to leadership and get back to me. I'm thinking that there is no way they will fuck me over when they see the numbers. So I was really upset when I get a call from the recruiter who says "The offer is what the offer is".
Long story short (too late), I take the position for the title and end up working in a nightmare job. It really broke me, but the straw that broke the camel's back was when word got back to me that when I pushed back on the job offer. The response the recruiter actually got from the Executive Director who got to make the call on my offer was "He can go fuck himself, the offer is what the offer is".
I was livid. So as soon as I got another job offer I was out. The good thing was that I got a 70% increase and more when I left the company. I'm happy as hell now.
Moral of the story?
If they aren't paying you your worth now then they never will. Someone else will see your value and pay for it.
"The CFP Management Committee met today to discuss expanding the Playoff.
We continue to make progress, but a variety of issues remain. The commissioners will meet again to see if the remaining items can be settled. The possibility of expansion is complicated and has multiple issues associated with it. Given the importance of the matter and our desire to achieve as much consensus as possible, we will continue our meetings to see if the differences that exist can be narrowed.
There remains a strong consensus that expansion is desirable, whether it begins early, or possibly not until the 2025-2026 season is over. The precise details of how it can be best achieved remain to be settled. We will continue to work at it. If- and I repeat if- the commissioners move forward with a recommendation, it is up to the presidents and chancellors who serve on the Board of Managers to decide if any possible future recommendation will be accepted."

Not trying to stir up anything, but I'm curious what the Muslim community thinks about this incident. What exactly did he leak, and what was the hate group alluded to in the article?

Does that make it the Boss Level?
Hey y'all, so I had a chance to talk with Sean Hill who is the Executive Director at KRT (local bus authority), I'll post below with some thoughts after our meeting, plus what we discussed!
Safety: How are the bus stops? Most are unlit with nothing more than a weather shelter and a bench. We discussed lighting each bus stop and ensuring that there are routes/timetables on each bus stop, to better see where your bus is going and when you can expect it to be there.
Convenience: What is the layout of the system currently? It is a hub and spoke model, which works for smaller systems, but for larger networks begins to falter when you want to travel from A to C - you have to go through B which can add a lot of time due to transfers and waiting. We discussed moving from this to a main/satellite route that allows more rural areas to be better serviced in a shuttle-type service and allow more of our communities to be serviced in a timely manner. We also discussed the pay system. They are already working toward a system that allows a cashless hybrid system which allows anybody to board, regardless if they have cash or card. People will be able to load cards at stations and online, along with potential partnerships to be explored, and use them to board and travel without the need to carry exact change. This system would have a paycard system permissible as we have a lot of people who do not have a bank account, so as to allow them to use the system as well.
Efficiency: How often do buses run? How are they affected by traffic? Currently they run every 30-60 minutes depending on routes, though certain areas are only serviced 1x-2x a day each direction. We discussed how this is antiquated and needs modified by talking to the communities in which KRT services. He gave me a commitment that they will survey the routes and see where ridership is and what routes are working well, and what routes are not, based on feedback given by our citizens. KRT intends to revamp its app to allow easier usage to allow anybody, new or experienced, to be able to travel in a way that makes them feel secure in their choice of transit.
Consistency: How often are buses early/late? Are there buses that cancel often? Currently, our citizens have no way of knowing ahead of time if a bus is early or late or cancelled, due to lack of tr

The executive director responded that itβs only sexual harassment if she doesnβt like it, and that they were sorry that her butt was so perfect, they just couldnβt help it.
The executive director has also made other questionable comments in the past to my wife, such as βa little makeup would go a long wayβ.
My wife is extremely uncomfortable and we are both unsure what we should do in this situation.

Hi! Iβm Austin Evers, the executive director of American Oversight, a nonpartisan watchdog organization that uses public records requests and litigation to expose the facts and hold the government accountable.
American Oversight has been conducting a sweeping investigation into efforts to undermine the 2020 election, including the growing number of partisan βauditsβ and election reviews.
In Arizona, we have uncovered tens of thousands of pages revealing concerning details about the stateβs review of ballots cast in Maricopa County, including partisan fundraising schemes, the influence of baseless conspiracy theories, and door-to-door canvassing that was potentially conducted in defiance of Department of Justice guidance.
We are also fighting to expose the facts behind the Wisconsin Assemblyβs election review. On Nov. 5, in response to our public records lawsuit, a judge ordered the Wisconsin Assembly and Speaker Robin Vos to turn over certain documents related to their partisan election investigation within 10 days.
Partisan operatives and officials in more and more states are starting their own reviews, part of a broader effort to advance a false narrative of voter fraud and create a pretext for enacting new restrictions on voting. The restrictions already proposed or adopted in multiple states will make it harder for people β especially people of color β to vote. American Oversight has launched investigations in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, and more β and, when necessary, is prepared to go to court to get answers.
Join me to discuss the power of public records requests, what weβve uncovered about partisan ballot reviews, and how we can use facts to fight back against attacks on democracy.

... keep reading on reddit β‘TL:DL.... I've worked a skill for 10-15 years as a contractor and my main client just asked me to step into a huge leadership role and I want to prepare as much as possible to manage people when I've only ever managed things/tasks. Would love advice, books to read, recommended resources to begin devouring.
The long version if you're curious....
I have no formal education, was just a scrappy self-taught kid who started doing something I enjoyed when I was in my 20s and spent a decade trying to work hard and be diligent.
My main client I've worked closely with the past few years is a branch/agency of a non-profit with a household name. In recent years they have relied on me more and more and I've been taking on more responsibilities as a contractor.
During some restructuring I was offered the position of Executive Director and I just accepted.
I'm about to start a role that puts me working side-by-side with Doctorate degrees, leading a team of 6 employees and 2 contractors (all of which I've worked side-by-side with for years and fully support me taking this position over them).
I have a natural leadership personality and have always been put in leadership in clubs/groups/situations I've joined throughout my life. I (and the CEO and execs who hired me) believe I'm the perfect fit for the job, excepting I have little no experience managing people in a workplace, so have a lot to learn, as fast as possible.
I've been independent my entire career so employment alone is going to be a weird adjustment. But I look forward to having things like paid vacation and 403b benefits for a start.
If you've made it this far I'm grateful, and would love thoughts and advice from those who manage people and can give recommendations for resources, great books and general direction for leading well.

This regards the Bitterlake Homeless camp and the non-profit chosen by the school district to help clean things up. This guy is wild. Even wilder that the School District gave him money.
