A list of puns related to "Denbigh"
Had someone say it was supposed to be "Den-By". Using the IGH like High.
Off the winch into thermal. Drift onto ridge. Work another thermal off the ridge to 500' below cloudbase, push upwind and contact wave. Work it to 9500 and push out to Conwy valley and off West towards Angelsey. Wave lennies spotted over Ireland, Isle of Man and the Lake District. Fast run back to Denbigh ridge and a bit of ridge running and low ridge work. 2h35 in the most comfortable glider cockpit and the nicest handling ship since my old LS4! ( except for the seat back adjuster that was killing my right upper arm! )

Lockdown lifted in North Wales! Broken Wave to 6000' late in the afternoon. November in the UK is not generally great for gliding but it's still flyable and Denbigh serves up wave regularly! Oh, and the first flight back in the game in 5 years. Need to get cleared current then the LAK 17 AT is coming out of the trailer and I can get the Silene airworthy!
