Me and my father were watching CNN and they were talking about the ISIS beheadings. My step mother was getting quite heated about the coverage and my father went "Woah woah woah, it's nothing to lose your head over!"

My wife discovered a tick in our house - likely brought in by the dog after a hike with the family that day. At dinner, it prompted a discussion about the relative risk of Lyme disease and its recent increase in media coverage. My wife made the argument that, while incidents were up, the overall risk is really quite low when you look at actually numbers of incidents. As such, the media coverage is not warranted relative to other safety concerns. My rebuttal:
"Frankly, I think it's about time we had a tick talk"
Context: We were discussing the Malaysian airline situation and it's coverage on major news networks. He says > "They're covering this story so much, you could say its becoming a plain story"

Basically they gave me bumper to bumper repair coverage for an extra 50 a month. The loan officer told me that if I get the coverage and I need a tow at anytime, the coverage designates me a free tow whenever I need it.
So I says "no thanks, I've already got 10"
