A list of puns related to "Common Ivy"
A few months ago I was really honored to get an interview from U Penn. I joined and we talked and it went pretty well until I started talking about the gentrification in my own community and how Architecture affects communities/people (something I want to research in college) and he responded by saying that the gentrification in Philadelphia has made it a safer environment and has improved the area..... I didn't really know how to respond lolll... (I understand what he was saying but I don't think it being a safer environment justifies pushing people out of their neighborhoods)
basically I'm just wondering - for those of you who attend Ivy League institutions currently/attended -is this kind of blind/self-centered (imo) outlook on the world really common or was he just an outlier? Do people actually care about their communities? about people? and are they using the resources at their colleges to help others or are they genuinely just attending for the name only?
really hoping he doesn't see this lol π thx for the interview sir I rlly appreciated it
Specifically supplemental Harvard, Yale and also Stanford(not an Ivy League lol). Are they the same as this yearβs prompts or do they change? Iβm really confused
Thx

Iβm not sure what to do. Iβve only had this ivy for a week but it already seems to be dying. Itβs slowly been on the decline for days. Leaves drying up, and all those stalks were once upright. Iβve watered it once a few days ago and the soil is still moist. Got some time release fertilizer yesterday. Made sure draining holes werenβt clogged.

Iβve had this Ivy less than a week. Two of its stalks/leaves have begun to sag. I watered it the other day, and it sits on my widow sill with low light (under a deck).
Does this look like the plant is dying, or do the tendrils of an Ivy do this as the plant begins to grow/expand?
Wondering if I should do something different or leave it be. The two sagging stalks do feel a bit limp compared to the upright ones.
Every time a book or movie talks about applying for colleges, they always talk about getting into an Ivy League school. But how realistic is that? Surely not many people actually end up going?
