A list of puns related to "Chophouse"
Just came here to say I miss the chop house cheddar burger. RIP to a real one.
Iβll be in ATL for my bachelor party in May and would love to get the group to a Braves game. Weβre looking at options for 17-18 guys. Currently discussing the Chophouse Club Terrace Seats vs the Xfinity Rooftop. Possibly the Hank Aaron Terrace. Looking to hear the pros & cons of each, as well as other ideas/sections yβall might have. Thank you in advance!
Heya, Devin here. I was playing and you played too, but I think you left your ring behind. You mentioned you come here a lot so I figured, I'll hold on to it cause I do too, so I'll keep it with me and give it back to you next time I see you. But if you see this post, hit me up in DMs and I'll get it back to you sooner if you want it right away. I live locally.
Also, you were great at piano, dunno if you have any music to share, would love to hear it if you do, and if you want any of mine, here's some random soundcloud stuff.
Very nice to have met you! That's why we do it!
Piano stuff this past month for an upcoming album:

Goofball bored stuff I submit to Conan O'Brien every week or so cause it takes 10 minutes and my friends find it funny.

A 42 track album absolutely no one asked for that took ten minutes a day for three weeks about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Half goofball stuff, half just piano.

Love this city for fun moments like tonight. Appreciate you.
How were peoples experiences/food
Has anyone ordered from Chophouse steaks? I was looking at their supply and they sell Japanese wagyu ribeyes online. Just looking to see if theyβre legitimate or not!
Does anyone know his story? I saw him today walking down Madison toward his usual spot. He has a bit of a hobble and is always dressed in a suit jacket. It's obviously a bit hot out for a suit, and it just made me a bit sad. Wondering if anyone has ever chatted with him?
Going there tomorrow for a big birthday and wondering if you guys had recommendations, anything to avoid, complaints etc. Thanks!
So, kind of a different type of post.
I've been meaning to update the list of local distilleries and shops, and want to add a list of good restaurants for whisk(e)y enthusiasts.
Bourbon and Bones is one such restaurant.
They've had a location in Scottsdale for a while, but I never tried it. Always wanted to, but never managed to get over there.
The Gilbert location is opening up shortly. I was fortunate enough to be able to visit last night as part of their "Friends and Family" training event.
tl;dr - I'm here to tell you that if you've been meaning to try this place but haven't yet... bump it up on the priority list.
Drinks:
I've never really been a cocktail guy. I like neat pours of good whiskies. But they had several on the menu that piqued my curiosity. One was a type of whiskey sour, another was a boulevardier... I forget the specifics of the boulevardier, but it was fantastic.
My wife had a few as well, and we loved them all. Even something as "routine" as a gin and tonic was presented beautifully (large cucumber and chunk of grapefruit) and my wife said it was incredibly refreshing.
While the cocktail menu is impressive, the list of whiskies/bourbons/ryes/scotches for pours was incredible. I think it was four pages... and very small print. Lots of different flights available as well. My wife convinced me to pass on the "Unicorn Flight"... which I think was $900. But there are many many flights at much more manageable prices :)
Appetizers:
Calamari Fries - Fantastic
Grilled Octopus - Amazing. Any time I've had octopus in any dish, it was very tough. Not a bad thing... just how I assumed octopus always was. But this was very tender. Almost flaky. I've never tasted octopus prepared in this way.
Hot Rock - Wagyu beef strips that you cook up at the table on a hot rock. I've never had wagyu before. The appetizer is meant to be eaten by dipping the beef in a sauce, cooking it, then dipping it in a second sauce. It was great like that... but I also wanted to be able to appreciate the beef itself, so tried without the sauces. I was great with the sauces... but I thought it was even better without.
Dinner:
The wife and I both had filet mignon. Hers with truffle butter and mine with bone marrow butter.
I have to say, I didn't know bone marrow butter was a thing. But it is and it's magnificent.
Both filets were quality cuts and both were cooked to perfection (our request was medium rare).
Dessert:
My wife had a
Man, its been over 2 years since he last time it was brought back to Texas for a limited time. I miss it so damn much. Its my overall favorite from there and nothing around me can really compete. Ugh
My nephew works there and got texted by the manager informing him earlier this week a kitchen employee tested positive and today another one did. They are having an outbreak but the Colorado department of health is closed on weekends so it wonβt be considered one until Monday! Just a heads up in case you are planning to go out to eat tonight!
A nighttime hostess tested positive. This is the first confirmed cases at this location. Hall's are offering free testing to all employees at their private banquet center tomorrow morning.
Does anyone know when whataburger will release the A1 or chophouse cheddar again? Sorry but the Hatch chili was not doing it for me, mushroom one is ok. So far all they have is patty melt and sweet n spicy I really enjoyed.
Have to travel to Jacksonville from Georgia making a pit stop to Jacks and PAY WITH DOGE!!! Buy, SPEND and HODL will take us to the π! Ask your favorite places to accept Doge if they donβt then donβt buy anything there if you can this will force the adoption as currency. Heck ask even if you donβt buy itβs word of mouth!
I loved that burger. I was really surprised when they took it away. I was wondering if anyone knows an existing order that I can modify to basically make it? Or maybe there are some additions I can add to a normal whataburger?
maybe theyβve done away with the chophouse sauce and itβs not possible.
Anyways thanks in advance for any insight.
I had these meatballs one time while visiting Tampa Bay and they were far and away the best I've had. They were airy but not falling apart. Would love to know what they use to get that texture and flavor.
My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on July 5th. Our night sitter flaked out, so my MIL watched the kids during the day and the wife and I went paddleboarding at Black Creek Outfitters' lake (awesome times...keep an eye out for some black Knockaround sunglasses I lost in the water), then went to Cowford for lunch.
We swing open their big badass doors and walk into an...empty restaurant. Like, no employees, no patrons empty. Nobody. Not a soul. We walk into the dining room. Not a single living thing.
Weird. So, we take the elevator up to the second floor. We walk out and...nothing. It's a ghost town. Like, rapture-style disappearances. Had I been about my wits, I would've merrily snuck behind the counter and poured my wife and me some drinks.
At this point, we're thinking the place is closed (obviously) but why would the doors be open? We go back downstairs. I peer into the kitchen and see a cook, so I open the kitchen door and say, "Are you guys open?"
I look down and see that the cook is holding a packaged Publix pork butt in his hands. Interesting.
He tells me they were closed for lunch service on July 4th and they decided to close on the 5th too. He says the door was supposed to be locked. Fair enough.
On the way out, I grab a couple of mints and four boxes of their matches.
We went to River & Post instead and enjoyed a fabulous lunch.
Takeaways:
Hi everyone! This is my submission for the Dungeon Design contest. I have never created a dungeon before so this was a fun challenge!
As the title says, this is an Epic Oryxβs Kitchen, in the manner of DDOCKS, WLAB, etcetera. The dungeon is complete, but I am planning on adding more item ideas. Also, per the contest guidelines, there is no artwork.
