"Do you know why those people are buried on that hill?" he asked.

"No..." I said.

"Because they are dead."

My dad turns to me and says "People are just dying to get a piece of that property up there".... -_-

My 11 year old to my 9 year old, as we drive by a cemetery on a hill : "i wonder why they bury people in a hill."

9 year old, in total deadpan: "because they're dead."

Me, pointing: Do you know why all those people are buried on that hill?

Son: No. Why?

Me: Because they are dead.
