see the tweet!
Capriol Suite will be extended for cello and bass to October 22nd, 11:59 PM Eastern time.
If you'd like to record another part that's not for one of the instruments listed above, contact me directly. This is so I know what parts I myself will be recording to postemptively balance out the numbers just a little bit.
Have a great day!
P.S. I got a cello submission that's missing mvt 5. I think the Dropbox may have run out of space and goofed. I've cleared it up now, so if this is you, could you resubmit that please? Thank you!
P.P.S. I got a viola submission that's 10 mins long but the back half is totally silent. If this is you and you do have recordings for the last three movements, could I get those? Thanks!
Salutations to my esteemed compatriots:
I'm pleased to announce my first project hosted in the RSO: the Capriol Suite by Peter Warlock (actually the pseudonym of one Philip Arnold Heseltine—read his Wiki page here).
I got to play a little bit of this with my school orchestra several years ago and thought it would be great to do the whole thing. At approximately ten minutes long, this is one of the shortest and most accessible suites for strings out there. Each of its six movements are based on a Renaissance dance.
The sheet music and click track for the piece can be found below. Please be sure to select the correct part(s) for yourself.
Performance notes are in the folder—please read!

##Recordings are due on or before OCTOBER 18TH
In the file name, please include:
The name you want to be credited by, whether that be your Reddit username or something else
The instrument/part you recorded
Just a reminder that Capriol Suite is due soon on October 18th and needs string players.
The Dropbox will close at 23:59 Eastern time unless I inexplicably go to bed much earlier than usual, in which case you'll have a few more hours.
If there are no bass submissions by then I may consider extending the window for them.
