A list of puns related to "Brickwork"
So one of my bedroom shelves collapsed breaking the tv that sits under it in the process.
I noticed that the plaster, which is at least 30 years old, was very 'crumbly' and in little bits almost being held together by the paper.
I decided I would have the wall re-plastered professionally, but first I would try to remove the existing plaster myself to:
a) Hopefully save a bit on the re-plastering cost
b) see if the bricks were nice enough to make a an exposed brick feature wall of sorts
...when I was greeted with this horrid sight..
Thoughts/advice please?
Just get it plastered over? Does this need some work?
Please note that this is a council house.
I always found it weird that some of the major factions in skyrim would have you do a couple little odd-jobs between the storyline quests for each faction, the Companions being an easy one to point to - but the Dawnguard, while having a lot of little quests (kill the vampire masquerading as a Pilgrim / Advisor / Bard, kill the vampire in a bandit lair, rescue your spouse, etc), you could largely ignore them in pursuit of the main DG quest. I killed Harkon ages ago and only recently remembered 'oh yeah, the rune gear. Might as well finish that line'.
My two thoughts thus far are 'holy christ, this is a slog' (you can be made to fulfill up to thirteen little quests between each Rune Item quest) and '...why's this place still a dump?'
It just feels so morose and tired, like the dawnguard are barely a few steps ahead of where they started. Oh, sure, we've got Gunmar's forge and the table and the troll pen but the place still looks run-down. Will it get cleared up as I finish the Rune Items?
I had some brickwork cut with a grinder but it isn't even, can I use a file or rasp to grind down small amounts of brickwork?
