A list of puns related to "Bookhouse"
I'm a big fan.. Used to record episodes on VHS when it was on TV.. I've re-watched it many times.. I remember the signal very vividly..
I'm curious if anyone here remembers it the same.
Some of you may be shocked?
Try to post what you know it to be before looking it up!
In Vol. 5 of Records of Jueyun, apparently Ganyu's mom ate some guy's clothes, transformed into a naked human, showed him the sights, got pregnant, and came back later with (probably) baby Ganyu. Give it a read, it's pretty hilarious.
I used to record the episodes on VHS when they were on TV. I've re-watched the show many times. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan.
The Bookhouse Boys' signal is different here.
I wouldn't say I 'remember' the signal, I'd say I know it.
So I thought I'd ask in the TP sub and the first responder knows it the way I do.
What do you all remember or know it to be (assuming there's any fans here)?
This ones for all the completionists out there.

Forgive my tangent. I'm rewatching the first season (for the upteenth time) and got to episode 3, where Cooper is introduced to the Bookhouse Boys, and it struck me how the setup for the Bookhouse Boys is nearly perfect for a spinoff continuation of the show.
- A secret society with an ever-evolving membership, meaning an entirely new cast could be assembled, with no necessity for any returning/legacy characters or actors. But the opportunity is still open.
- The group has a central enemy: the "evil" in the woods, allowing for a direct access to the mysteries of the show, without the need to directly tie back to any specific storyline, while also having a limitless avenue to explore that mystery
- Seemingly timeless, due to the nature of the 'club'. Stories could be told from different era's in time, with the only linking thread being the continuously evolving "evil" mythology and how it changes the overarching narrative (similar to Fargo's approach with their show and it's various seasons)
- The mystery itself is already intentionally kept vague, despite there being numerous works and episodes of the source show devoted to exploring it, which only deepens the mystery. Episodes could focus, much like the first season does, on the convoluted web of drugs and crime under the surface of the town, while also uncovering the 'evil' piece-by-piece, overtime.
- A police procedural/serial without the red tape - The Bookhouse boys are almost anti-heroes/mystery hobbyists, allowing for the 'fun' of a police procedural, without actually having to write about police work. It could be a group of high schoolers, or some middle aged guys, or even a bunch of house-wives or mothers, or all of the above; the flexibility is pretty much built-in to the concept.
It is well-known that Lynch saw the mystery of Laura Palmer as a "goose laying golden eggs", which is true, but I believe the real 'goose' that made the show so compelling was the density of the crimes and how the show introduced the mysteries of what was actually at work behind the scenes that lead to her death. But, as we know, by answering the show's initial question, the narrative dried up, despite how wonderfully the show setup the initial mystery.
In a way, I see this as almost a "blank check" to create a new series but with the style and atmosphere of the first season, with the benefit of time separating the heavy burden the show originally placed on Laura's mystery, so that a new show can deviate t

Looking at him standing next to Jifang, the seller there, I noticed that their clothes seemed to be made out of the same material, due to the color change from black to light blue and also the pattern seemed similar. We also know from Xingqiu's backstory, that he is responsible for some of the silk trades Feiyun Commerce Guild makes, since his father wanted to give him more responsibilities. Of course, it can't be told how that silk ended up being made into Jifang's clothing, my thoughts on this are, that as a thank you to the bookhouse, Xingqiu might have gifted the fabric to them. Or she could have simply bought the fabric, but we know Mihoyo, they put so much thought into Genshin Impact, it's hard for me to believe that that is just a coincidence.
Also excuse the possibility weird formatting, this is written on mobile. Also English is not my first language
Does anyone know if there's a Bookhouse Boy Oath? I've searched through episodes, the Secret History of Twin Peaks dossiers as well.
[SOLVED] I had to start Chapter 1: Act 1 of main story first for some reason
Jifang NPC that's supposed to sell books here doesn't appear for me. I'm hard locked from book collecting achievements that can only be acquired from her. Anyone has an idea why this happens?
Catherine swirled her nearly overflowing glass of red wine. "Cheers, my dear." She and Benjamin Horne clinked glasses and kissed. "Thought I wished we could have met somewhere more... glamorous." She motioned to the cracked walls in their motel room.
"You know how it goes. Best to be away from prying eyes."
Catherine's voice turned serious. "I hear the Norwegian deal fell through."
Benjamin nodded with a grimace. The Norwegian deal... fell through. But, I know how to win them back. How does a golf course where the old mill once stood sound to you?" He sipped his drink, giving Catherine a knowing look. "Leo Johnson owes me a favor. He can handle your problem."
Catherine's thin lips curled into a smile. "I'll drink to that."
Meanwhile, Josie Packard on looked the couple from the woods, spying through a pair of binoculars.
Ed Hurley heads toward Dale Cooper, who is seated with Harry S. Truman and Hawk at the Double R Diner. He gives a sly wink to Norma Jennings as she approaches the table.
"What could I get ya, boys?" Norma asks,
"I would love a slice of pie."
The Log Lady, who is eavesdrops behind them, chirps up. "The cherry pie is a miracle!"
The rest affirm. "Four slices it is." Norma walks off to the kitchen. Ed's gaze stays on her until she disappears out of sight.
Truman leans in. "Hawk and I discovered something last night, after our interrogation of Bobby Briggs. He did not have an alibi the night of Laura's murder."
Cooper leans in. "In my expert opinion, I do not think he did it though. Bobby's too wild and stupid for something like this."
"I agree. But what did your forensics expert Albert find? Cocaine in Laura's system, right?"
"Yeah, and he is the best guy around."
Truman smirked, "I agree. Through some back channels, we found that Bobby and his friend Mike are peddling drugs around Twin Peaks. I suspect that Jacques Renault, the bartender at the town's Roadhouse Bar, is involved."
Cooper sat back and looked at Ed. "So what do we all have to do with it?"
"Thereβs a sort of evil out there. Something very, very strange in these old woods. Call it what you want; a darkness, a presence. It takes many forms, but... itβs been out there for as long as anyone can remember, and we have always been here to fight it."
Truman sits up. "We are the Bookhouse Boys, and we invite you to protect this place with us."

Immediately after watching Episode 10, my wife theorized that we are about to see the Bookhouse Boys again. I think she could be right. Consider:
β’ Everett McGill is speaking at Comic-Con, which has sparked speculation that he will appear in Espisode 11. Big Ed was a Bookhouse Boy, of course.
β’ Something big is about to go down in Twin Peaks, at Warning ScopeI have a hunch we may even see Warning Scope
β’ Note these lines again from the Log Lady, said to Bookhouse Boy Hawk in Episode 10: [Warning Scope](/s ""The Truman brothers are both true men. They are your brothers. And the others, the good ones who have been with you. Now the circle is almost complete."")It seems to me this is a direct reference to the Bookhouse Boys.
I'll be moving to Atlanta on Jan 1st and would love to meet some fellow redditors at a bar in the old fourth ward neighborhood this Saturday Jan 2. Let's say, the Bookhouse pub at 8 pm. If you are interested, let us know below.
