My wife Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS 2003. This year this car has received new engine, transmission, front axles, rack and pinion, all hoses were replaced along with every sensor , brakes and rotors along with wheel bearings. Next job on this car is suspension and shocks and new tires.
Please help. I want to ride my bad new bike. The store removed the front wheel so I could get it in my car but now I can' remove the axle to put it back on. I'm torquing both aides opposite each other with 6mm wrenches but I strain and it don't want 6o break it. I'm sure I'm doing something stupid.

Three years and 40,000 miles of fun all over the western United States, along with a handful of mods. Easy to forget about maintenance— I’ve got axle seals going out as well as wheel bearings, not to mention my ebrake’s rusted solid. No mods this summer for this poor college dude!

Aluminum parts have their issues. It’s heavier and the body pays the price. Also broke a rear axle from the torque. The weight makes it drive a lot different. The Tbone rear bumper is heavily scratched because the wheel for the “wheelie bar” is just too shallow. It is fun and fast lol. It’s a hobby

I have brr flat face wheels that are supposed to work well with the brts I end up with this after I take all 4 nuts off and the wheels feel like welded on. So really weird. All the bearings spin fine but no matter how hard I pull they wheels and axles are still there. Plz help

Got it at a hobby shop in Antioch Illinois, paid $14 for it. It came in a small MTL case but with no ID card in it. The entire base and detailing is diecast. I already added metal wheels with 100 ton barber-roller bearing trucks with the axles painted and need to add magnimatic couplers eventually.

How are car wheels, hubs, axles and everything else attached to each other?
My current understanding is the tire is attached to the wheel, the wheel is attached to the hub and the hub is attached to the axle.
I feel like I'm missing something but I don't know what.
To give context into why I'm asking, I'm attempting to design an independent motor vehicle. I'm trying to see where to put the gear that will drive the axle that will then obviously make the vehicle move.
