A list of puns related to "Session musician"
I really wanted to combine my love of post-rock like 90s Swans + Godspeed with indie pop like Men I Trust + Clairo and late 70s pop like Gabriel, Bowie + Eno. Seems like a bizarre combination but I'm really proud of how this track came out, and I hope it makes sense when you listen to it.
The SAD version of Blood Promise is definitely one of my favourite songs of all time, and while this song is obviously much much shorter, I really tried to tap into that hypnotic and transcendental vibe of Blood Promise, but in a different context.

Cheers, interested to hear any feedback. :)
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I can do both clean and heavy vocals (shrieks, gutturals, mid range screams, etc..).
I have a home studio and 3 years of experience in audio engineering in a wide variety of genres, as well as 15 years experience as a musician. I can write and produce instrumentals for solo vocalists, track guitar solos, provide vocals for completed or WIP instrumentals, etc - mostly any musical need you have.
My SoundCloud has about a dozen clips which showcase my performance, writing, and production styles. Shoot me a DM or a comment if you want to make some music together.

Having trouble with timely communication on fiver⦠anybody jave any other places they hire session musicians? Looking for keyboard solos for deep house?
Hey Bellingham! I'm a sax player and my gf plays trumpet. We're both jazzers and excited to be visiting our friends in Bellingham this Thanksgiving. Does anyone have any tips about where we may be able to find Jazz musicians to jam with?
Cheers!
Hey musicians,
I'm looking for session drummers, singers, guitarists and more.
Send me a message.
Thanks!
I'm planning on taking a substantial dose of shrooms tomorrow (nothing "heroic"), just over enough to give me a strong trip. I've never used psychedelics but am extremely open to new experiences good or bad, I've always been a very introspective person. I plan on jamming out with a sober friend trying to come up with song ideas while my mind is in a more free state. Is this a good idea or will it sort of strain my mind and trip by trying to come up with music?
Trumpet player from San Antonio, TX coming through town with my girl on our way to CO for our holiday break from school. (UTSA 11-0 birdsup mfsπ€)
Are there any open jazz jams in town tonight? Looking to play a little and meet some locals.
Hi!
I am an amateur musician and have been playing alone for a few years now. I play keys, a synth, and a little bit of guitar. Iβve been dying to have a jam session with some other musicians since I moved here a few months ago and would love to eventually pull a band together.
Anyone else interested?
Why did they bring in Hal Blaine and TWC for Pet Sounds instead of using Dennis Wilson? I noticed that even before Pet Sounds they were using session musicians, like on Please Let Me Wonder. I understand Brian was in the control room, but did the other members even play on Pet Sounds and/or Smile? (obviously excluding vocals). When did they begin using other non members to play on the recordings?
Hi!
I am looking for any musicians (of any skill level) interested in meeting up for a jam session. I am an amateur musician that plays keyboard, synth, and a little guitar and have been looking for others that want to meet up and play.
Let me know if anyone is interested!
So I've always had the feeling like I've wanted to jump in with the band at local venues. Whether it's at bars or at concerts. I've been playing drums my whole life and it is genuinely so much fun to play with different people. That being said, I've always wanted to find a venue... maybe a bar of sorts... where it's like karaoke instead of just a mic. Rather, it would be a full set of instruments (keys, guitar, drums, horns, bass, etc.). You could just come up and play at your leisure as you walk in. Maybe there would be some kind of "vetting" process where you audition to be on the list of musicians to play. It's not a paid thing. Just a "for fun" kind of thing. I realize the problems that come with this kind of thing (Lack of musicians, lack of quality musicians, people playing for too long, degradation of gear, etc). Regardless, I want it to be a thing. Maybe something like this exists. I havent been able to find anything remotely similar so I'm putting out this post to see if anybody knows of an establishment that I do not. Please let me know. I live in Michigan but I mean if I had to travel out of state for it, I just might.
