Scenic viewpoint Puns

I took a trip with some friends years ago to Bellingham and we stopped to drive up a winding road to the top that had just some parking spots with viewpoints all around. You could see out to the sea.

Maybe I don't remember right but I thought of it almost like a giant rock in the middle of a valley.

Thought it would be good for seeing the Auroras tonight.

Hi - we will be visiting the very last week of August. My partner has limited stamina. Just wondering what are the best/easy hikes (if it's strenuous for a small climb up, we may be able to manage). Also want to make sure we see the best viewpoints along the lake with minimal effort.

Hey yall, just moved back to TX after 10 yrs of living in Miami. I’m 22, living at my dads house while I transition into getting a job and my own apartment. There are a total of 5 people living inside the house and while I await to be interviewed for jobs, I am going insane staying inside all day 24/7. I need to get out. I feel like I’m wasting this year as a 22 year old just staying inside and not doing anything. Are there any rivers or lakes or scenic view points that are anyone’s favorite? At night, are there any beautiful high altitude scenic viewpoints in SA and that are safe for a woman to be alone?

We have a car and we are driving to Briancon from Grenoble. We are looking for road side viewpoints on the way to Briancon. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I am planning a proposal in the Tahoe area and wanted to get some feedback from any locals or common visitors that might know of some good scenic viewpoints of the lake in the north Tahoe area. I’ve heard Carnelian bay is also very nice but I have never been. The more details the better. Thank you all!

It's cold and damp and very unappealing for a hill walk. Does anyone know of any scenic viewpoints that you can drive to around Edinburgh or the lothians like in the pentlands? Can even be a bit ways out of Edinburgh like 30 mins or so.

Not city center based like Arthur's seat or Calton hill or anything.

Something like the wee bit you can park your cars near the pier at the forth road bridge but more hilly?

I hiked the Boulder Loop today and found these rap rings/climbing anchors at the top, by the panoramic scenic overlook. The coordinates are roughly 44.0100, -71.2262, for reference. Anyone know what route that is?

This may be a long shot however I am looking for a scenic place/viewpoint that's within 1 or up to 3 hours drive from Denver that would be ideal for a surprise proposal (planning to propose next weekend on 3/28. I originally planned to do a surprise proposal in Lisbon, Portugal next weekend however due this pandemic, I had to postpone my flight to a later date and change my secret proposal plan. So this is my backup plan.

Also, I would be open to any photographers that would be interested in making some money for a surprise proposal shoot (yes, I understand we are in a state of social distancing however, if you are okay with it then please feel free to reach out or refer me to someone). I'm also aware that some people are out of a job in certain industries due to this pandemic so if you do photography as a side gig...this could maybe help a little.

Hi, I am looking for recommendations for scenic viewpoints/observation points in Quebec, not too far from Montreal. I actually want an equivalent of Vista Point, California ideally. I made a lot of research but couldn’t find anything close so hopefully someone here more familiar with the area might be able to help me!
