A list of puns related to "Copyright law of Japan"
So recently a youtuber by the name of Totally Not Mark had around 150 of their videos, mainly compossed of reviews of anime/manga, taken down by Toei Animation. While it can be argued that these videos fall under fair use, from what I understand there are no such laws in Japan. This would explain why companies like Nintendo and Toei have a zero tolerance policy with people using their media in videos.
What I'm curious about here is say Totally Not Mark were to try and fight this in a court of law- don't get me wrong now, would never happen, small creators like Mark dont have the funds to take on a cooperations like Toei- but how would the two legal precedents interact? Would Mark actually be protected by the fair use laws of the US to use Toei's material in his videos, or is the fact that it was made in japan mean they can take it down however they want?
Right when we are close to the ending too.

Piracy sites are like cheap hookers. If you're going to use one, wear protection.
uBlock Origin - Adblock.
Malwarebytes - Free, effective antivirus.
MAL-Sync - You probably don't want to be giving your email to a random piracy site with questionable security to bookmark what you're watching. Even KissAnime was hacked. This automatically records what you're watching on more trustworthy sites such as myanimelist.net, Kitsu.io, and AniList.co. It is compatible with all major streaming sites, both legal and illegal.
I just saw another Youtube channel get a Copyright strike from New Japan and it's just annoying at this point to hear how many channels and people have stopped talking about new japan. This is hurting the company more than ever because the product hasn't been the best this year and there have been even fewer people talking about the company. And if the company is not in the conversation then that's a problem.
Covid and injuries are a big issue but still, they haven't helped themselves with the repetitive matches this year. I was going to make videos about new japan but now there's no point unless I want to get a copyright strike.

Basicly if you "get caught" Download and distribute "Manga" you get jail for 2 years. Anyone who work are realate to "manga Scanlation and distribution" also affected. That mean to if you run Mangadex@home in japan shore is ilegal.
So in future i guest everyone must prepared security & countermeasure. We don't know are they really will enforce fully this law but sure there will be effect on community.
We already lost Kissanime last year, how long do we have with 9anime, and the other sites?
Disney did not take down or have anything to do with KA's takedown
Nyaa.si will not close down anytime soon.
Torrents cannot be 'taken down'
Anime sites can only be taken down with a warrant or termination by their service provider. (This is what happened with KA)
No other sites will be shutdown, unless they are found to be HOSTING VIDEOS. But sites have a loophole in which their host their videos somewhere else. So technically, they are not hosting the videos.
Hi all
I'm shooting a wedding next year, and the couple have asked for their ceremony video to include a recording on the musician they have.
He is a cover artist who will be playing a song by Tom Walker. So the ambient audio of their ceremony video will include this cover.
Could this potentially land me in hot water when it comes to copyright?
Thanks
