A list of puns related to "Coming Up (song)"
"I am", I said.
I told her that the singer is a weight lifter. The eye roll was accompanied by a smirk.

Whenever a song comes on, Iโll hold up a jar and say, โThis is my jam!โ
Tim Horton's should play music by The Who and The Guess Who. Whenever someone is asked "Guess Who is playing this music" or "Who is playing this music", especially to younger people that don't listen to classic rock, they might not know. You can tell them, in a real coy (not Real McCoy) manner, that it is what Horton hears in the Dr. Seuss books. If they guess correctly, they could win a prize. If not, tell them either to really "Guess Who is playing this music" or "Who is playing this music", and see if they catch on.
*The idea for this is from listening to all the times my dad would make us Guess Who was playing the song in the car or he would say Who is playing this song right now and we would guess incorrectly until we caught on. It's a long running dad joke, so you better catch it before it takes off.
I was listening to music with my dad recently and we were taking turns playing songs. I played the song โtime has comeโ by the band Europe, from the hot rod soundtrack (Hilarious movie btw). I pointed to my phone and said โEurope!โ. My dad yelled โIโm up? Alright!โ And started looking for the next song to play. I was like โNo! EUROPEโ and he was like โI KNOW, IM UPโ and proceeded to play the next song. Afterward he said he was just fucking with me. A true dad moment. Thought you guys might appreciate.

... keep reading on reddit โกSo recently there's some news of a student taking food from the community fridge that doesn't belong to them. I'm in charge of making a parody of Iggy's Azeala's song "Fancy". I want to make a joke that uses both things.
The best I can come up with is What does your food in the community fridge and the parody video have in common? It's gonna be as cool as if you found your food in the fridge.
I'm sure there's something better.
So I was driving around with my friend who is addicted to that "What Does the Fox Say?" song (so annoying). I almost hit a squirrel which brought up conversation about hitting/almost hitting animals.
Him: "Yeah the other day I almost hit a fox coming home from work."
Me: "Oh really? What did it say?"
Him: "-__-"
I think I laughed at that joke to myself for a good five minutes.
Years ago I used to use a LexisNexis database of companies that would give corporate information like name, address, and general business description. While most of them were pretty bland, there were a bunch of them with some really cheesy puns, and over a few years I built quite a collection.
Today I share with you "NEXIS IS RIDICULOUS.txt":
I'm constantly dadding my fiancรฉ with bad dad jokes. Recently she's been upping her game.
Driving through the city, the song "With or Without You" comes on the radio.
It starts kind of slow, so I ask "Is this U2?"
Fiancรฉ replies "No."
The song picked up a bit and I quickly realized that it was in fact U2.
Me: "Yeah it is, see?!?"
Fiancรฉ: "I don't sing this song!"
Me: groan
My father in law pumped this out at a dinner the other night. The band was coming up to play a song and the MC for the night said "take it away guys" to which my in law responded with "where are they taking it? We're right here!"
Maximum groaning all round.
In the song "Unchained" by Van Halen...
Dave: "Hey man, that suit is you. You'll get some leg tonight for sure. Tell us how you do!"
Ted: "Come on Dave, gimme a break."
Dave: "Hey, hey, hey, one break coming up!"

I used to play in a community jazz band in my hometown. The instructor was my (at the time) girlfriend's dad, I knew him pretty well. We had just gotten set up on stage to perform in a high school auditorium, and he walks out to give an introduction:
"Thank you all for coming out today, we've got some good classic american jazz for you on the way, but first we're going to start with the ancient Chinese traditional song,
tu - ning."
struggled to keep my shit together in front of about 150 people. legitimately cracked me up.
I was barbacking one night and the entertainment (two guys that are awesome at Beatles covers with piano and guitar/singing) were killing it that night especially..with a solid group of roughly 25yo's singing along and drinking with em between breaks. An older couple was on the other side of the bar all the while they played. So when they finish their last song and everyone claps the old gentleman gets up and says:
"Thanks for coming tonight guys, made it a real good time...If you guys need any help packing that stuff in your car...these young men will be more that willing to help you"
Had us all laughing.
So, let's see that report card. Hmmm. Not so great this term, eh? Maybe you should have bought some tutor mice.
What are tutor mice? You never heard of tutor mice? No wonder. There's this elf, see, and he trains mice to teach kids different subjects. You buy one mouse for math, another for English, and so on. Each mouse you buy is a guaranteed A.
And the best thing is, this elf doesn't have a shop or anything. He comes to you. All you have to do is sing the song.
What do you mean what song. Everybody knows the song. You just have to sing it like you really mean it, and he'll pop up and sell you some mice. Like this:
โซI'LL BUY MICE, E-E-ELF...โซ
โซDON'T WANNA 'B'!โซ
โซI'LL BUY MICE, ELF!โซ
I recently went with a bunch of friends to see a hockey game at the University of Michigan. If you don't know, everyone who goes to that school is obsessed with their fight song which is titled "Hail to the Victors".
Anyway, we get outside the arena and then a torrential downpour starts. Our group runs underneath a bus stop awning thing to wait out the storm.
Then loud cracks start to be heard. Frozen rain has started to fall everywhere.
We look around at each other.
"Hey guys..." I say.
Everyone tenses up. I see the disappointment on their faces. They know what is about to come out of my mouth.
"Hail to the Victors!"
