Class of 1990- 2010. Who here attended their district conventions in Tacoma Washington? How about Puyallup for their assemblies? I canβt hardly believe I spent 20 yrs going to these places, sitting in those chairs, staring at those stages, smiling at those peopleβ¦ dying inside.
Does anyone remember how bad the menβs bathroom smelled during breaks and lunch? This was during the 70βs to 90βs. I would gag and almost puke walking in there. A bunch of old guys shitting their brains out with no shame. Sounded like an ass trumpet section in there.
Did anyone else frequent this place as a youth? Iβve actually got some fond memories of it.. the old icecream room upstairs.. and every one rushing to the front row on the balcony only to be told that no kids were allowed on the front two rows because someone knocked a cup of tea off once π All of my note books were full of doodles of the weird Art Deco designs on the side walls and then I noticed one day that there was a room behind them! π

Rumor about selling off an assembly hall. Interesting that the opinion is offered that some Assembly Halls may be unsaleable due to locations.
Wishful thinking on their part? Or maybe they missed the money? I just don't see that happening that early next year. Many are not vaccinated, most are afraid of the vaccine from what I heard, even heard some elders don't want the vaccine. And even if some have vaccine they can still get the virus and pass it on. How can they sing ? Since singing such a huge part of their worship.
