My business would be selling to large companies in the tech sector, so customers could be met in any large city in the world since those companies have offices everywhere.

For those that are living in Asia Pacific (namely Hong Kong and South East Asia), you will surely have heard the news that Disney will be closing down 18 cable channels under the Fox brand that were operating out of Hong Kong this October. Included are Fox Sports Asia (channel 1 to 3). And this is kinda a big issue, as Fox Sports Asia is the exclusive license holder for a LOT of motorsports coverage for the APAC region, including Formula 1 (including F2 and F3), MotoGP, WSBK, Indycar, and such.

The closure of these cable channels can be pointed to the launching of Disney + in APAC in recent months (Disney Hotstar if you are in Malaysia and Indonesia), and while in the Indian market, Disney + does carry sports (including F1) in their app, this does not seems to be the case for the APAC region, where Disney + will only be featuring movies and tv series.

I did email F1 TV about this, asking them if F1 TV's subscription would be opened to people in the APAC region after October, but what came back was just a stock answer (No info, and APAC users are still not able to subscribe). That kinda sucks, since you Dorna allows you to subscribe to MotoGP's videopass, even tho Fox Sports has coverage rights to MotoGP.

In any case, for us in the APAC region, October might be a black hole in F1 coverage for us until another rights holder emerges, or F1TV is finally allowed for us.

To our friends and neighbours in the Asia-Pacific,

The world has changed irreversibly in the past half-year, to a point where it is almost unrecognizable. For us here, we have seen the fall of the United States, the dissolution of the United Nations and ASEAN, and the expansion of, well, all of us.

One thing that has not changed, however, is the fact that we all have some sort of territorial disputes in the South China Sea and the North Natuna Sea. While we will likely convene at a later time to fully settle the matter, for the time being we would appreciate a set of simple mutual commitments to ensure some level of regional stability and avoid endangering the already-fragile regional economy any further. Just as Nusantara has its own Pancasila, we too propose Five Principles for peaceful coexistence in the Asia-Pacific:

1. Mutual respect for each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty,
2. Mutual non-aggression,
3. Mutual non-interference in each other's internal affairs,
4. Equality and mutual benefit, and
5. Peaceful co-existing.

Simple as that. We'd rather not commemorate the first year since the formation of this League with us at each others' throats, after all.

Morning all,

Asian stocks are set to track a rebound in U.S. equities as the prospect of very gradual policy tightening tempers some of the concerns about the Federal Reserve’s hawkish tilt. Treasuries and the dollar retreated. Futures rose in Japan, Australia and Hong Kong. The S&P 500 rallied the most in five weeks, outperforming the technology-heavy Nasdaq 100, aided by a revival of the value trade in sectors like energy and financials. Crude oil and gold jumped as a dollar gauge snapped a six-session winning streak. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said inflation had picked up but should move back toward the U.S. central bank’s 2% target once supply imbalances resolve.

After a worst week, US market especially value sectors given a good move in the yesterday's trading session, so what we can expect from Bursa today? And any better counters to look into, what about CHEETAH 🐆, it's been one of my favourite for a while.

Pardon me if my jargon or terms are incorrect, first post!

I'm familiar with the Cold War exercise that simulated rapid mass reinforcements of American soldiers to Europe (West Germany) in the event of hostilities with the USSR. Is there an equivalent exercise / mobilization plan for American reinforcements to South Korea? Aside from certain Marine / Army units being earmarked for USINDOPACOM, I'm unaware of any operational planning.
