A list of puns related to "Accuracy and precision"
This may be well known by the community already, but I just recently discovered it so I thought Iβd share just in case! You just ADS line up your headshot like you normally would with your gun, but hit melee while ADS instead of gun trigger and you will toss your throwing knife right where your crosshair is. There is VERY little delay too. Itβs pretty much immediate like firing your gun
The βmagnetismβ of the knife is pretty crazy too. I was really shocked at how forgiving it was. You can regularly land headshots with your knife, which will immediately give you your throwing knife back for precision kills. I found it was REALLY accurate out to sidearm and even hand cannon range.
Just thought Iβd share the info! Good luck out there guardians.
Edit: Well, this got some traction...

Okay so this is weird but whenever I take a test with a scantron sheet, and Iβm filling in the bubbles, I get this feeling in my hands. I donβt know, trying to get it filled in perfectly just sends this weird sensation through the hand Iβm writing with, so I have to put down my pencil and stretch it out, ugh itβs just such a gross feeling. Or say having to thread a needle, and Iβm having trouble with it, my hand will get that feeling. I also just got it even watching this vid https://www.reddit.com/r/toptalent/comments/dvjjmz/mind_blown/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf (hopefully that link works). Basically any task that involves something tiny that I have to be very detail oriented with and very precise. Iβve asked my friends if they have ever had this and Iβm yet to meet someone who has. Has anyone else felt this, and if so, do you know what it is?
1604, the Hampton Court Conference- a more pious and less political King James insists on strict originalism. He directs funds towards acquiring the oldest available bibles that can be made available to England; insists on full translator's notes and annotation; and permits a wider range of source bibles to be used, as determined by the Church of England. The KJV is the most influential translation for the development of many strains of Protestant Christianity. What are the results on religious development if the KJV is an 'originalist' bible, based as much as possible on the oldest greek versions?
(Note: this is from a console player's perspective)
When Forsaken dropped, in both PvE and Crucible, precision damage bonuses got overhauled. In short, all weapons in all content (against Guardians or against PvE) required almost all of their shots to be precision to get their optimal DPS or TtK.
This wasn't always the case; for example, pre-Forsaken Aggressive and Adaptive SMGs saw a very, very minimal boost to damage when hitting precision (for reference, an Adaptive SMG's damage per shot went from 12 to 13 in PvP if you hit the head. The TtK only got nudged from 1.07 to 1.0 second. It really didn't matter, just spray away.)
To me this made perfect sense because Adaptive and Aggressive SMGs were basically bucking broncos so they'd be pretty crap weapons if you had to be super precise with them. Instead, you could just aim center-mass and do just fine. It wasn't like this with Lightweight SMGs because they had the inherent bonus of improving your Guardian's mobility, or Precision SMGs because they, well, had the range and recoil pattern such that you could reasonably hit precision with most of your shots, which was the cost of having a significantly farther effective range.
It all made sense.
And then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked with Forsaken.
Now every single SMG and every single Auto Rifle regardless of how much of an inaccurate bullet hose it is needs perfect or near-perfect precision accuracy to inflict decent damage.
I totally understand this rationale when it comes to Hand Cannons and Scout Rifles and Pulse Rifles, because those are simply meant to be precise slow-firing weapons, or have a lot of range, or both at once. Even with some sidearms it makes sense since those are semi-auto. (Emphasis on some.)
But so many Auto Rifles and SMGs are the same as they used to be (pretty inaccurate bullet hoses) and nothing's changed except they deal more damage to the head now, while their body shot damage has remained stagnant at Y1 levels. In short, they were not updated to reflect the change in the sandbox. (Oh, and then shotguns became special weapons too.)
Most SMGs and ARs feel like you're trying to run Windows 10 on a machine made in 1998. It sure worked great when you were running Windows 98! Not so much now.
For reference, here's the PvP method to get the optimal TtK for these weapons:

Anyone tried to use tf-idf scores in combination with word embeddings (fast-text, glove etc.) for text classification? If so how did you? hstack? Multiply tf-idf score with the n-dimentional word embedding?
Accuracy refers to the closeness of a value to the standard
Precision refers to the closeness of two values.
What does this mean in cubing, and how should it affect your mindset?
Replace value with your time. The closeness to your standard, would be your goal time. Say you're low 30s, and you so badly want to have a sub 30 solve. The standard would be the goal of sub 30, so let's say at most 29s. Precision is essentially the definition of your average. You precisely solve around 34-36s.
In order to reach your goal time, you have to be consistent. If you're getting 32s solves, then 45, then 37.. You're not very precise. That would then mean you're less likely to reach that sub 30 goal, because a lucky solve would not be as important. Yet, if your average is 32, and you're getting 31, 33, 32 etc. That lucky solve might just drop below 30.
I used this mindset very recently to remember my practice drills. I had been randomly getting 13s solves, but if I wanted to consistently get 13s, aka be more precise to 13s, I first have to become more precise over all. I was getting in each average at least one 19-21s solve. Yes my average was 18, but my lowest could be 15.
This also should be considered in splits. If you can precisely solve FB/Cross withing 1-2 seconds, you're just going to be faster. Maybe a lucky SB will drop your time, or a PLL skip etc.
Goal == accuracy.
Average == precision.
To be accurate, you first have to be precise. You have to be able to get the time you want.
That's my Ted talk, see ya next time
What are the rules behind rounding to appropriate accuracy or precision?
To my understanding, when adding/subtracting you will round to the lowest measurements accuracy. For example#:
162.173 oz + 75 oz = 237
I am not sure about the rules regarding multiplication and division, and Google hasn't been much help.
If some one could do an example of rounding to the appropriate accuracy or precision for a multiplication / division question, it would be much appriciated!
Thanks in advance!
