A list of puns related to "Wedding Veil"
I've purchased and returned about 15 veils over the last 2 years while waiting for the wedding. The struggle is real. So I felt compelled to share this find with ya'll. Highly recommend this veil. The tulle is soft, provides decent amount of volume, and the ivory color is an actual ivory. Not an off-white and not a yellow. Slight champagne vibes when you scrunch up the tulle, but does the job in not being whiter than my soft ivory gown. If you have a true ivory gown, I'm sure this would be the perfect match. The quality of the sewing at the comb is decent without any weird scrunching some of the other amazon veils tend to have.
I don't gain anything by you purchasing the gown or clicking on the link, but I hope this is helpful!

Hello,
I am getting married in a couple months and decided to knit my veil. I used undyed pure silk laceweight and beaded with freshwater pearls.
However, my dress is also silk and from 1933. I restored it myself to the original color with oxi clean and the silk held up beautifully.
The issue is the silk yarn is a few shades too warm for the dress, would oxi clean be safe to use on that to lighten it? Of course I would do a couple swatches first to be extra safe.
I normally use baby soap and natural hair conditioner for the blocking process on my silk lace pieces, so Iโm not sure how the oxi clean would factor into that process.
Iโm also open to any other lightening suggestions!
Thanks!
Long story short, I'm engaged!! And of course knitting needs to be involved so I'm planning on making the snow peacock veil for myself. (Link at the bottom of this post). I know I want it to be white, and that I am going to use lace weight yarn instead of fingering weight. I would take any suggestions of yarns that would work well for a lace veil.

Hi y'all! Hope you're all doing well.
How did you choose your veil?
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options. Did you purchase it at the same time as your dress? Did you wear a family heirloom/borrow? Forgoing a veil altogether in favor of something else? Pictures welcome, I need some inspiration.
Holy shit was it expensive. I love it and itโs perfect for me but feeling so guilty for spending so much on a wedding dress. Ugh!
Hi everyone!
So, I found my dress a few weeks ago and fell in love with a veil that matches it perfectly. However, I'm getting married on a beach in Oregon and I'm worried about wind.
Is it a terrible idea to wear a cathedral length veil on a windy beach? The rest of the internet tends to say yes...
If I do decide to go with the veil, I was thinking of temporarily attaching it to the skirt of the dress the way that seamstresses attach separate layers of a skirt in the same dress. (I don't what this Is called or if it even has a name.) Its basically a sturdy threaded chord that connects the lining of the dress to the outer layer. Most formal dresses have this. I figured I could keep it attached for the ceremony and just snip it quickly before the reception.
Am I asking for trouble?
Hey Everyone,
I am getting married July 2022 and I think that I have found my dress! I'm in love with it and you can't beat the price ($300!!). I love this veil that I also found on JJ's House but I'm not sure if they go together? Its chapel length and has a comb. Please let me know your thoughts and also if you have any other suggestions for a different veil!

This classic and timeless Watters wedding gown is a well-structured silk charmeuse. Despite a medium-low back, this gown is very supportive in the chest (I'm a 34DDD). There are three layers in the lower half, with pearl beading that runs the entire length of the dress, which accentuates curves. I cannot express how flattering this dress is. Unlikes some strapless silk gowns, this one will sculpt you not expose you.
It has not been altered and has never been worn.
The dress retails at 2600 and is in perfect new condition. The bow in the images does not come with it, but I was planning to have my seamstress make my bow with the leftover hemming so it matched perfectly. The dress is ivory and I have a beautiful delicate veil that matches perfectly (ivory veils are hard to come by). The dress and the veil are both chapel length. The veil was $300, the dress retails at $2600. I'm selling both with a dress bag for $1150. If you only want one or the other, let me know and send a lower offer in.
Why I am selling it: I received it 3 weeks ago and we then decided to scrap our big wedding and elope. Silk charmeuse and hiking don't mix well together.

As for sizing, my measurements are 38", 27", 39".
I've lost my bridal veil somehow ๐ฅบ really want to replace it as I'm getting married soon in real life!
Let me know what you want in return. I have some good DIYs but will have to check what they are.
