A list of puns related to "Warrantee"
as above.
I tried to go onto the contact us page but it requires you identify a system by the service tag, but that service tag is gone.
This is obviously a mistake since they received the broken system. I emailed them back at the email listed in the email I received giving them the dispatch # and service tag and gave them the fedex tracking info.
what else can I do?
Edit: Resolved-ish. u/wizardstrikes2 was 100% correct. I called Dell, first sales, then technical support, then premium technical support. The person there was able to see that they already had the system back in their possession, but that since I had 2 return labels generated, that was the problem. I just sent an email (just like u/wizardstrikes2 said) to us_warranty_parts_return@returns.dell.com and gave them all the info - -service tag of the machine that I returned, plus all the other #s I had for them (dispatch #, etc. etc) plus a copy of the fedex tracking info that clearly shows that the machine was received. I'm hoping they just clear it out on their end.
It was the 2nd return label generation that screwed everything up.
thanks for everyone's help.
I am just a third party technician, so I don't deal with the warranty servicers directly. Right now I have this alcoholic customer, he is also a tenant. Claims that his top load whirlpool isn't spinning out. I spent an hour and a half there and verified that it indeed does spin out. I even ran a load with the lid open and watched it spin dry.
In between turning his back and chugging nips, the customer silenced his girlfriend when she almost admitted that she's putting too large of loads in.
When we got the inevitable call back after I didn't do anything, upon arrival he said that he had just tried to wash a load of towels. Sure enough, inside the washer were a bunch of sopping wet towels. On the UI, I noticed that he had paused it on the wash cycle.
This customer is clearly trying to pull some bullshit, but I am just an employee and have no say in whether or not we go back on these. So, for absolute shame, I now have a wash plate and hub on the way that is completely not needed. I'm throwing parts at a perfectly good machine. What other choice do I have, does anybody know?
Oven will come way before kitchen cabinets. Would like to install if and use it for a few months.
I had an issue with one of the arms of my Titan 2020. They were responsive, and after providing some photos to verify issue, they sent me a replacement part.
I am very satisfied with their support.
I purchased a new transmission from a national chain for a vehicle in UT in 2019 prior to moving to NC. Last summer, said transmission failed on the freeway (in WV) during a road trip to visit family. Two nights in a hotel, and two tows later, we discover it was indeed the transmission, and it was still under warrantee. Local branch of national chain initiated a warrantee repair, and rebuilt the transmission in-shop. They felt that maybe it wasn't getting enough cooling, so we purchased a (potentially superfluous) new radiator, just in case. We had to get rescued by in-laws (that we were going to visit), and pay for a rental car back to NC, picking up the repaired vehicle 3 weeks later.
6/27/21, the same transmission fails. This time in IL. I recognize what is happening, and have it towed to the local branch of national chain transmission shop. I want to finish the road trip with my 3 children (as we haven't been home to friends/family in 2.5 years), so I pay $900 for a rental vehicle from 6/28-7/20. This is agreed to be an acceptable time frame to complete the repair. I follow up after the first week; no repair work started, as the originating shop has to provide parts/cost of labor, and hasn't done it yet (AFAIK). I follow up twice the next week. No progress. 7/12, 8 days from the "completion" date, they tell me that corporate is going to pay for the repairs, then bill the UT office. Great. The story changes 3 times over the course of the week regarding how the repair will be done (in house rebuild, exchange unit, distributor rebuild). I'm told my transmission will be pulled and shipped to be rebuilt on 7/19, with minimum 10 business days before completion. I cannot extend my rental car remotely, and it is due back on 7/28, and my car won't be done before 8/2. I now have to drive from UT, where I've been from 7/2, to IL, just to renew my rental. I follow up this week, almost every day. Transmission pulled on 7/21 (the day after I was to initially pick it up), still not shipped 7/23. This pushes the 10 business days back to 8/6. I cannot afford to pay an additional $800 for a rental. My car is stranded in IL. Every time I call, I know the shop manager is trying to get things done, but nothing is happening.
I'll have spent almost $2K this year (almost entirely on a car rental), plus additional expenses last year. I don't know that anything malicious is happening, but I feel an abundance of bureaucracy is slowing this down, and I'm just here hemorrhagi
... keep reading on reddit β‘What's the deal with HP and their extended warranties? I'm trying to purchase the $9.99/month extended warranty, and It keeps saying that the service is temporarily unavailable. (The HP Care Pack Pickup & Return Plan with Accidental Damage Protection.)
According to the HP app, my existing warranty expires tomorrow, although the HP web site says my warranty expires in July 29.
I got my bugs from bangood do they fix em or does anyone know? Itβs headless mode isnβt working and it acts up and lands without being told,
I have a Logitech G203 Prodigy for about 1 year and 3 months and then it started with the double click issue on the left button (clicks happen when you hold and almost every time a second click happens again when you release the button).
I activated the warrantee with Logitech and have proven the problem with a video showing the tests. Now they said that they don't have G203 Prodigy anymore and offered me a G300s. I refused because of:
I wanted to know what you think about that and if you got any suggestions to me.
I was searching/thinking about asking for a G203 Lightsync for replacement of the G203 Prodigy as it almost the same model (the successor), but he has not yet offered it. Although it also seems that G203 Lightsync sensor is worse than G203 Prodigy. What do you think?
Any suggestions? Thanks!
So I bought my onewheel pint two weeks ago. Other than poor New England weather I am always on it.
My only worry is voiding the warrantee on such a new unit. Running threw reddit seems some people have issues with the new boards. I haven't experienced a single issue within 50 miles.
Should I wait or get the battery while its on sale. I'm temped to buy it but wouldn't know how to store it till I'm ready to install.
