A list of puns related to "Stock Ticker"
You can see the changes in popularity and moving averages over a period of 2,3,5,7,10 and 14 days in one view. The averages are rank, % growth rate and mentions. I used standard deviation so you can see the momentum for each group.
Exclude any subreddits to reduce what you consider noise. The tool will recalculate the averages.
You can bookmark or share your table filter for each column directly from your browser. Your filter settings are on the URL address bar. This helps you find tickers based on your criteria without having to re-enter the filters. Eg: Show tickers that are continuing growing for the past 14 days with the 3d average mention less than 50.
If you find this helpful, I'll continue to develop it and add sentiments and an alert system.
I have run some data analysis of posts in reddit, where ticker symbols are mentioned in the post title.
Figure 1:
In the first figure you can see the absolute amount of created posts over the last 90 days, where the particular ticker symbol is mentioned in the post title. Still, $GME is on the first place. But you can clearly see that $CLOV is getting attention, trending at 4th position. The tickers along the y-axis are sorted according to the total number of posts during the last 90 days in reverse order.

Figure 2:
In this figure one can see the trending subreddits over the last 90 days, where posts has been appeared with $CLOV ticker in the title. It's no a surprise that r/CLOV is at the first position. However, also on r/wallstreetbets people are discussing $CLOV. The subreddit labels along the y-axis are sorted according to the total number of posts during the last 90 days in the reverse order.

Figure 3:
In this figure one can see the total number of comments related to posts over the last 90 days, where the post title contains the particular ticker symbol. $CLOV is on the 5th place so far from the point of view of the absolute amount of comments. However, one can also see that the amount of comments is rapidly increasing. Also here, labels on the y-axis are sorted in the reverse order by the absolute amount of comments during the last 90 days. I have no idea, what is going on with $GME during the last week. Have someone an idea?

Figure 4:
Here, you can see the average number of comments per post. With other words, you can see the "density" of interest for the particular ticker symbol. So, here the highest average amount of comments per post goes to $PSTH. We are on the 7th place. Have someone an idea, why $PSTH is trending?

Figure 5:
In the last figure you can see the average amount of comments per post over the last 90 days for $CLOV. You can definitely see that the interest for $CLOV is rising. The ac

The amount of comments and posts I've had to remove over the last few days that were just telling people to buy random low liquidity ticker symbols or meme stocks is silly.
Be warned, we are not WSB. If you post something off-topic to algo trading, such as pumping a MEME stock, you will be perma-banned.
Has anyone else had an issue with Cashapp this morning. Since around 10 a.m. EST I have not had any updates to my portfolio. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled, still nothing. The BTC end of the app is working fine. What's going on here??
Has anyone looked at this stock? From what I see it has a potential of going up 2,743% and a buy rating. It is currently sitting at $0.5027. Would anyone else agree that this stock has that potential? $ITP
Hi, long time viewer, first time caller. I've seen a lot of posts about the $372 after hours spike, but also a lot of misunderstanding. Some have even suggested market manipulation when the price dropped right back to $192 afterwards. I posted this as a comment but though more people could benefit from the visibility.
The price you see on a stock ticker is the price of the most recent trade. If two people agree to trade at $420, that's the price on the ticker until two more people agree to another trade. What we saw after hours today is that people were trading gamestop at ~$190 and then two people agreed to trade 100 shares of GME for $372 so that was the price on the ticker, and then others kept trading at ~$190 so that became the ticker price.
The interesting question is why two people would agree to trade at almost twice the current price?
It was probably a mistake on the buyer's side. Unlike regular business hours, after hours trades are not well centralized and have low volume. This makes after hours trading more risky. Some buyer put in a limit order for some stupidly high number, and some seller saw it and pounced.
When volume is low, I always try to be careful with my orders. The open orders can be really far from the current price, and it can be easy to get played if I'm not careful. What you do is up to you though, I'm not a financial advisor and this is not financial advice.

Edit: u/1duke1522 suggests that the $372 trade could be an option holder writer buying to cover, and this would make sense given the size of the trade. Options are for 100 shares and the trade was for 100 shares. If the buyer could only find someone selling at $372, well then they don't have much of a choice.
I'm not sure of that yet. Prior to this we'd seen tons of trades at about 193, so why would that be the only price left? There should be sellers around 190 somewhere, especially since it went right back down. Maybe they were buying on a market where all the $190 orders had dried up? If someone has more data on what market this order came from and what the order books looked like, it would make the buy-to-cover theory more convincing.
Edit2: u/precocious_kid suggests that the trad

Daily high/low and loads of other information. However, the only thing we donβt get in return is short volume and a constant idea of what it is. We have to look at dark pools, look at the 15 day old report of short interest. Itβs highly unfair that bulls are getting shafted. Shorts can buy on leverage, bulls gotta pay full price.
I was browsing the internet searching for dividends stocks for my discord and ran into a video talking about a "Weekly Dividends Stock".Few things:
This isn't a DD or anything more of a question and pure surprised response.
Ticker/Name:
TGIFCost: $105 USD
Weekly Div: 0.05
Yearly Div: $2.4

I'm more surprised this is actually a thing and as far as I know, it's the only one. Anyone else knows of any others or if this is a "one-off thing"?

The Ticker Database is the most useful tool r/MillennialBets has to offer. Reddit is an extremely valuable resource for stock information, but it's very difficult to use the search function for stocks. This tool does all the work for you and makes the information easy to find.
You can access the database by clicking the Ticker Database button at the top using a desktop or under the menu section on mobile.
https://preview.redd.it/8yo4zv0mcdt61.png?width=1812&format=png&auto=webp&s=d8741397d39d0610269676c7d29c925fa1f7c6ff
The program scans 12 different subreddits (more can be added), including all of the major ones, for any post flared as DD, News, or Discussion. The post is then parsed for all of the Tickers or Companies mentioned in the title and post body. This information is then updated to the respective wiki. The each wiki is updated on a continual basis.
The Index page allows you to choose which tickers to search by first choosing the first letter. There are also rankers (12 hr, 48hr, weekly) which shows the stocks most popular on reddit. Yolo, Meme, Gain/Loss porn is not included in the rankings.
Here is an example of the front page :

Here is an example of choosing a specific stock:

The Ticker Database can also be found on the sidebar under the helpful links section.
A direct link to the available stocks in the database can be found here : https://www.reddit.com/r/MillennialBets/wiki/index
You can also access a stock's individual database by using https://www.reddit.com/r/MillennialBets/wiki/index/stocks/ TICKER. If the page returns as not available then there are no posts in the database to display.
This should make it easier to research stocks and get the full picture in a time efficient manner.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Be well ape brothers and sisters.
Don't believe it for a minute. This has happened before and some made money but most lost.
They are trying to take your eyes off the ball. 250 mentioned of gme is normal and that is usually at the top, but 500 mentions for PLTR? Come on now.
My eyes are on the prize. The only superstonk is GME.

I posted about this Friday but it got lost in the memes. I started noticing that the tickers on Chase Brokerage were off. Even when I tried to buy more. Today, I saw people showing the same with Robinhood.
When the time comes, which is on the way down from squeeze, Iβm going to sell at limit and not market. Thoughts?
Edit: also in the process of looking for an attorney to take this on, so if any of you 4M + subscribers are an attorney in this area with expertise please contact me directly.

I am gonna put this out every time we have a red day to remind people. The hedges manipulate the prices to get you to sell so they can cover. DONT LET THEM!!
What is the estimated stock price following the switch from SRNG/SRNGU to whatever Ginkgo Bioworks would use (GBIO? GINB? GIBI?).
I am looking for either analyst estimates or even some back-of-the-envelope calculations. thanks!
Android ape here asking for recommendations for stock ticker apps. I've moved everything from Robinghood to Fidelity but the Fidelity app isn't great (yet! They're working on it!). I'm using RH's stock ticker but I'd really like to scrub that scum stain from my phone.
Phalanges diamondus. Ook Ook.
When I used to enter a stock ticker in the Search Bar...it would take me to that "stocks landing page" with all the stock ideas etc. From there...if I wanted...I could look at the stocks trading graph.
But now...when I use Search Bar it goes straight to the stocks trading graph & I cannot get to that "stocks landing page"?

With FOMO Corp currently priced at $0.0076, many are predicting a price surge due to the hype behind the ticker symbol update by FOMO Corp, from ETFM to the new FOMC. Supposedly there is more PR to follow next week as well.
What is everyone anticipating for 05/07/2021 and next week? What price and volumes? All insight welcome!
Hello!
I went through all the hot posts in popular sub-reddits and selected the top posts for the week. I excluded meme stocks because I'm sure everyone is experiencing fatigue at the moment on why ThE SquEeZe iS nOt SqUoZe. You might think this is very subjective to what I think is "popular" or a quality post, so here were my requirements to be included.
These are listed in no particular order. If this is something you guys like I will continue posting this, maybe weekly or bi-weekly.
