To be honest, at first I couldn't even figure out why that headline was on the GME ticker to begin with. Must be some typical fluff in the article where they mention GME to make sure they attach this misleading headline to the ticker. Then it hit me, "Oh, they are responding through headlines to the superstonk reddit posts that created the current NFT Marketplace hype. WTF?"

Let's make this clear, they do not want GameStop NFT marketplace to be successful. This breaks the mold about what they thought GameStop was, what and why they were shorting, and even what they thought it was going to be going forward. This nft marketplace isn't just GameStop moving into e-commerce, which they can compare to other companies attempting the same and easily fud as GameStop makes this transition. This marketplace is a gamechanger. Enough of a gamechanger that MSM is prematurely trying to push another nft marketplace into IPO territory. Yesterday I made a post stating that GameStop NFT marketplace would be the only public company that had a NFT marketplace, which could lead to other major companies interested in creating NFTs being open to working with them. The brand is on the public market, trustworthy, and accountable. This made the front page. Sure enough, the following day MSM releases a fallacious headline mentioning OpenSea being a possible IPO for 2022. Because, well, anything is possible right? I guess it's not a lie if its possible.

They read our reddit and literally the next day counter any buzz points we make with misleading headlines. This was no coincidence.

So what do I do? I look into it.

The headline is deceptive, as opensea has publicly stated they are not planning an IPO. On December 9, 2021, after a huge backlash within the OpenSea community, Chief financial officer Brian Roberts, is quoted as saying:

I’d say at least half of the news ticker/scrolling thing on the bottom (WWMT) is Covid related.

Other Countries locking down, imposing strict enforcement of safety precautions. Here in the US, NBA/NFL/NHL cancelling or postponing games. NYC considering what to do for NYE bc of Covid.

Honestly, I guess this is a shit post bc it doesn’t have anything specifically to do w/Kzoo outside of the fact that I can’t help feel like people have just become apathetic to the entire thing.

I’m not saying I liked life better when everyone was in a panic, but I do feel sometimes like I’m the only one that hasn’t been desensitized to the fact that it has just become another bit of info on the news ticker, that here in Michigan 250+ more people have died from Friday/Saturday.

I am fully vaxxed and had a breakthru case close to Turkey day. We didn’t plan to gather until after my quarantine (thankfully symptoms were mild), however, that was put on hold swiftly as my mom developed severe symptoms & eventually tested positive for covid. We didn’t see her/expose her, and she isn’t super social, so who knows where either of us picked it up.

She is now on week 3 of dealing with her symptoms and hasn’t returned to work yet. I’m thankful she hasn’t been hospitalized, and 🤞🏼 she continues to improve. I bought her a pulse ox & Spirometer which I do think has helped, but I’ve never seen her this sick, weak or fatigued ever and tbh it’s very jarring.

I’ve known more people in this past month or so who have had + tests, than in the entire pandemic.

I found some relief in being fully vaxxed > finally boosted just this past Friday! 🙌🏼, but starting to feel like we’re at that point again where it doesn’t even matter.

I’m FT WFH but in the last 2 months have finally felt like I could start to be social. Went out to dinner, had a spas day, celebrated a friends birthday, and even went to beer exchange! …and then, here we are again.

Idk. I will probably delete this if the mods don’t do it first. I just hate feeling like I’m the only one sometimes that is prepping to go in 2022, essentially the same way we came into 2021; this time tho, a little less hope that the US will ever manage this correctly.

I quickly built a little website that shows me all the news from star citizen, but also upcoming patches, etc. Up until now, it was the case that small patch notes were only displayed in the spectrum. The back and forth between news and spectrum annoyed me.

Of course, no cookies, fingerprinting and no advertising are used. Just a small, useful tool.

I've successfully restored the News and Ticker in the game Starhawk! This is reverse engineered using debug symbols in PowerPC64. I'm also working on the full multiplayer experience! This took a few months of solid work in IDA Pro to pull off! You try reading PowerPC64 and getting this working!
Tested on my DECR-1400a devkit

Possibly using one of the Starhawk Betas as a starting retail revival point. We'll see! Don't think I will post the Revival Discord for now! Lemme know what you guys think!

Has anyone ever noticed the news ticker do achievement-related headlines past the one that says "Strange creatures from neighboring planets wish to try your cookies"? I haven't seen it go past that, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention, and apparently there are quite a few more headlines.

Good morning Ultimatetraders. I thought it was more important this weekend to try and help traders who were down on 2021 then a week recap. There was a poll from the other day that was very helpful and allowed for people to vote anonymously. What I felt to be the case was indeed true. The majority of traders who voted actually are down 30% or more. That type of information does hurt me, but it means I have work to do. It means I have to try my best to make that change for 2022. Let it be known that the other day a list of over 50 hedge funds along with their year to date was published showing only 3 of them were up near 50% and the majority of them actually did not meet the SP500 index which was up 25%. Also let it be known that the SP500 index was carried by 10 of the large names which account for 35% of the SP!!!! [AAPL, MSFT, GOOG, AMZN, TSLA, NVDA, FB, BRK.A, JPM, HD] Also, let it be known that the top 10 Nasdaq companies comprise of 52% of the NASDAQ!!! [5,000!!! Companies but the index are controlled by: AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, FB, GOOG, TSLA, NDVA, GOOGL [No voting rights], PYPL, ADBE] These facts are very important because it lets it be known that without these 10 the SP would be even on the year! The Nasdaq would be down 20-25%. So do not be down on yourself if you were in the red this year. Even the great Cathie Wood was down 25%... How come money managers could not beat the SP this year? Because the SP is cap weighted and their concentration was not in the same proportion. They may have owned AAPL but not 15% of their portfolios, but that is its importance in the SP….AAPL was up 55% They may have owned TSLA but not 5% of their portfolio….When you buy an index you do not need to adjust daily to get the right balance, the index already does this…….When you manage a portfolio if you want it to mirror an index you must adjust constantly… This is the reason I believe the indexes are done this way. The only Index that is not cap weighted is the Dow 30. Each stock in the Dow no matter how large or small account for the same. A 1 dollar move up/down on a Dow ticker accounts for 4 points. Many do not need buy the Dow because it is just 30 companies but I would say the boomers, old school do. The majority these days buy the SP which is as basket of 500 that has given an avg of 8% gains since the 1950s. The Dow has returned roughly 5% since the 1890s. It is generally more safer stocks, and not growth. It is important to understand these things when you mea
