A list of puns related to "Spinning Top"
I took calc last year and had a fairly easy time with it. I heard abt this problem as being really hard and would like to give it a shot. Anyone remember what the problem was, or have a ss?
What brands/makers of spinning tops are out there on the webs for purchase. Specifically looking for metal tops.
The only two I know of are ForerverSpin and Billetspin. I'd be interested in anything that falls between those two bookends as far as pricing and design.
My web searches have failed me on this. Also, I'm in the US.
Thanks!
One of the best got7 albums to ever exist and one of my all time favorite. I don't know how to start this post but I hope you get the idea lol. A few days ago, I was feeling pretty stressed out cause I had an important exam coming up and I was anxious. That's when I went back to listen to this album and it definitely made me feel better. Now that my exams got cancelled (the only good thing covid brought), I'm here to appreciate the EP.
This entire album is very detailed. Even the smallest things have a huge meaning behind it. Lets start with the album cover. You can see that there are two colors with two Tops. A straight standing white one on the top and slanted black one on the bottom. Here, white indicates light and security within a person while the black portrays a darkness and insecurity. That's why the white side has a balanced Top while the black side has an unbalanced one. When a top rotates in balance, it indicates light and security but the moment it tilts it indicates insecurity and darkness.
JayB had come up with this idea for the album. He said "Anxiety for the future. As the goal is large, the expectations are high, and there's anxiety that it may return to disappointment. We got to see the light through 'Fly' activities, and that's how happiness and anxiety came at the same time. It's an emotion that started with the question 'when these times or good times will disappear, and when we have to admit and accept them later, will we be able to fully accept them?' I can't help but worry about the future. As musicians, we'll continue to do music, but as we get older and a new trend comes, the public will find it and we will be pushed out. Thinking about those things, I came up with the message and concept for this album."
The EP has 6 tracks in total. The first 3 - 1Β°, Eclipse, The End, represents the unbalanced side of the Top. While the last 3 - Time Out, Believe, Page, help to overcome and return to a stable position.
hello, if anyone here has a screenshot of the spinning top frq, can u please send it to me? A lot of people have been talking about it on snap and tiktok, i'd like to see the problem.
Thanks!
Up until that point pretty much everything Fang Yuan did was for benefits. So I got really confused about author's intentions with this scene when I read Fang Yuan being kind, when there is no benefit. I guess you could argue he didn't want to cause a commotion to save time, but even then he had no reason to stop the father from hitting her.
What I thought from this is FY isn't emotionless, he just has really good control of his emotions and he doesn't mind letting them loose when there's no effect on his goal. What did you feel about this scene?
...speak wisely.
I bought a okuma celilo at walmart for $27 and when I got home I realized the top half of the spinning rod was a baitcaster top. Does this affect the rod? Is it worth the trouble going back and trying to get the 2nd half?
Most people already know this, but to post it here, do not run spinning top on Kasumi.
Level 70 Spinning Top: When attacking, ignores 28% of target's DEF and increases self CRIT rate to 1.14 times.
Essentially, this should make your base crit rate 14%, essentially adding 14% to your crit rate. But many of us who tried ST on Kasumi noticed our Kasumi didn't actually increase her crit rate, and if anything the crit rate was decreased.
So I ran some tests, here are the results.
Methodology: Enter a friendly battle. I place Kasumi top column, enemy places anna bottom column to keep his leader healed up. Then we let the battle run and count the number of critical hits landed and missed on the enemy leader via Kasumi's unique. Blocked uniques are ignored.
Spinning Top Level 70
Kasumi 6 Star
Dragon Howl Level 70
Dragon Howl Only
Crits: 83
No Crit: 31
Expected Crit Rate: 75% (60%^(base)+15%^(Dragonhowl))
Measured Crit Rate: 83/114 = 72.81%
Reasonable results for 75% crit rate
Dragon Howl + Spinning Top
Crits: 73
No Crit: 38
Expected Crit Rate: 89% (60%^(base)+15%^(Dragonhowl)+14%^(Spinning Top))
Measured Crit Rate: 73/111 = 65.77%
These results make the expected crit rate of 89% mathematically impossible. Assuming a 89% crit rate, the chance of me only getting 73 crits in 111 trials is 5.69*10**^(-11)** or 1 in 17.5 billion.
So there are 3 options:
I don't have a way to prove any of these as of now, however considering dream prism is significantly weaker in damage compared to both dream prism and swaying wineglass, even at level 80. The fact it does not have a noticeable increase in crit rate makes the gear objectively inferior on Kasumi in comparison.
I am unaware if Spinning Top is bugged on other partners, from my current understanding it functions fine on them but I am not fully confident on that.
tl;dr: Spinning Top is bugged and does not noticeably increase Kasumi's crit rate, and is therefore weaker than other more accessible gears.
Hey all, I've been trying to track down any myths and/or cultural legends where a top (as in the spinning kind) is featured or is an important element in a mythological figure's story. It's such an ancient, iconic, yet simple item that I'd expected it to show up often, but surprisingly, I've found very little aside from this Wikipedia entry:
"...Hecate is the primary feminine figure in theΒ Chaldean OraclesΒ (2ndβ3rd century CE),[101]Β where she is associated in fragment 194 with aΒ strophalosΒ (usually translated as a spinning top, or wheel, used in magic) "Labour thou around the Strophalos of Hecate."[102] ..."
and from Hellenicgods.org:
*"...*The Gurob Papyri and the Toys of DiΓ³nysos
We have yet another mention of the Toys, a Greek text from the Gurob Papyri, where there is mention of a basket with a cone, top*, knuckle-bones, and mirror, and this all in relationship to DiΓ³nysos in a brief but distinctly Orphic fragment. [4]..."*
Can anybody here help me by pointing me towards other examples of myths and/or legends where a "spinning top" is an important symbol or element? Any light shed is good light, so thanks!
