In discussing being cold with my girlfriend this morning I remembered the Snuggie, and told her about it because they apparently didn’t have them in the UK.
Come to find out, Cincinnati set the trend when they had the first mass organized snuggle pub crawl.
In fact Ohio apparently Leads the snuggle revolution because at a Cleveland cavs game over 22 thousand people wore snuggies at the same time for five minutes and set a Guinness world record.

The most heartbreaking aspects of tonight's episode have been covered in a myriad of threads, but I find this heartbreaking too...
They try very hard (especially Kody) to come off as mainstream, non-fundamentalist, non-insular, just regular joe's, like you & I watching. They want us to identify with that 'normalcy' they project & every now & then, one of them slips, usually Kody & you can tell how really insular & detached from 'normal' society they are.
Tonight is happened twice, Christine commenting about Meri's gift & saying 'I don't even know how to describe them, they're like a huggable teddy bear', like what? You've never seen or heard of a snuggie before? I mean haven't they been around for about 15 years now? Don't they watch TV? It struck me as very odd & insular that they wouldn't have ever heard of a snuggie or snuggie knock-off.
Then, Janelle & Robyn talking about how they had no clue there were rapid tests for COVID. Huh, this was Xmas 2021, right? Just a couple of months ago? How do you not know that there are rapid tests?
When these things happen, it really gives us a window into the fact that they're not quite like you & I & they have more in common with those plyg cults they seem to deride, but are actually pretty closely related to.
Yes, the women don't wear prairie dresses & they can leave if they want, but you can't completely pull the snuggie over our eyes. They have more in common with the plyg cults then they ever let on. I'm so thankful those kids mostly went to public school & have a window into the world at large. That window is the key to forming their own opinions & values about life.

So I got a couple oz from happy hippo herbs that I saw you guys raving about on here. I didn’t like the red horn at all (immediately gave it to a friend) the Snuggie hippo on the other hand was exactly what I was looking for. A long lasting, clear headed, strong effect. I wish I had more of this.

Like a giant blanket with arm sleeves for when you’re cold but still want to get on your phone or eat or smoke in bed. I’m not talking a Snuggie bc you wouldn’t wear it. Think your regular bed comforter but with sleeves so you can still do shit when you’re cold
I want to figure put the most insulative, breathable, and durable materials to make an outdoor all weather oversized snuggie for cold people that live near my apartment. While not completely breaking my bank, but giving them a fighting chance this Ohio winter.
