A list of puns related to "Seattle Slew"
I'm 26, male. I've been with my girlfriend for just over a year now. We have a serious and very good relationship. We are in love and communicate very well on most matters, but I am very troubled by the fact that she has slept with more people than me. I'm not just talking one or two more people. She has had sex with at least twice as many people as me. And I'm not some prude that has only been with one or two ladies. I've played hide-the-sausage with a fair number of ladies over the years, but certainly not with nearly as many people as my girlfriend. Even though every girl with whom I've had a serious relationship has eventually asked me the dreaded question, "How many people have you slept with," she has avoided the issue of a "number" entirely. Based on stories told by her and her friends, I know for sure she has been with a ton of guys. Stories that she thinks are so "funny," like losing her virginity at a far-too-early age, or those guys she hooked up with on vacation or at parties: early in our relationship she was so nonchalant about telling these stories that I eventually had to tell her how much they bugged me and I asked her to stop telling stories about sex with others. I've tried to speak with her about how much her past promiscuity bugs me. She brushes it aside, saying that she knows she "has a past," that I make her feel bad when I judge her, and that I'll just have to accept it.
I really do hate feeling so judgmental about this. I like to think that I'm a liberal guy. I've had relationships with women that have slept with just a couple more people than me and I had no problem at all. The issue isn't that I'm afraid she will cheat on me, because I do trust her. Often times when we have sex, the issue will creep into my head and it makes it far less pleasurable for me. We have mentioned marriage, for sometime far in the future, but this is something that I'll certainly have to get over first, and I'm not even sure I want to marry someone with this kind of past. The fact that she has been ridden more than Seattle Slew is NOT irrelevant, not when she is someone I'm dating seriously. I know some people out there have to empathize with this situation! How I can I communicate this issue I have with her without making her feel judged, or how can I deal with this on my own?
tl;dr Girlfriend has had sex with far more people than me and I can't get past it.
EDIT: So, I feel like I came on here asking for help with dealing

This week at Bungie, we set our sights on a slew of Bungie Bounties!
While we may be sad that Festival of the Lost has concluded, Lord Saladin is having a bit of fun. Iron Banner is back, and a little brighter than what you may remember. A pesky little bug prevented the Iron Forerunner sets from lighting with a brilliant flame during our first Iron Banner event of the season. Now, as many players have discovered, these armor sets burn brightly during Iron Banner weeks.

Whether you equip this armor or use Synthweave to apply the look, pieces with the Iron Banner sigil now light in a brilliant flame when Iron Banner is active. Mix and match your favorite shaders and Exotics to make some sweet looks.

While Trials is on a short hiatus for Iron Banner week, we do have some details from the team on matchmaking. We are also announcing two weeks of Bungie Bounties, inviting you to share your stories for the Heroes Welcome campaign, refreshing our Prime Rewards offerings, and more!
##Testing the Waters
Last weekend, we tried out some changes to matchmaking in Trials of Osiris. We shifted to a system that put some focus on overall wins, pushing players into different buckets depending on how much they had played (and won) on a given weekend. While we are incredibly happy with the amount of data we were able to collect, this matchmaking system did not meet the goals that we had established last Thursday. As we continue to hone in on what settings we would like for Trials overall, we appreciate all who have been hopping in for a few cards and sounding off with feedback. Pairing data with player feedback and experiences is key to continued success!

Welcome to Day 23 of the r/indieheads Album of the Year 2021 Write-Up Series, our annual event where we showcase pieces from some of our favorite writers on the subreddit talking about their favorite records of the year! Today, we have u/AbeFroman1123 on Black Midi's Cavalcade.
Background by u/AbeFroman1123:
black midi are a British experimental/post-punk/math rock band that formed in the mid-2010s in Croydon, a major suburb of London. Comprising Geordie Greep (vocals/guitar), Cameron Picton (bass/vocals), Morgan Simpson (percussion), and the currently-on-hiatus Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin (guitar/vocals), the boys from black midi met while attending the BRIT School, known for producing talented musicians as diverse as King Krule and Adele. Following a residency at esteemed London venue The Windmill, word of the bandβs frenetic live performances and unconventional tunes began to spread like wildfire, leading to a performance with legendary krautrocker Damo Suzuki and a feature on Seattleβs KEXP music network. A record deal with Rough Trade soon followed, along with a slew of hype-building singles, before finally, in June of 2019, the group released their seismic debut record. Schlagenheim was an immediate oddity, captivating listeners with Greepβs unusual vocal style and the chaotic virtuosity displayed in everyoneβs performances. The album catapulted black midi to the forefront of the London indie scene, a position that has led to a steadily increasing global presence. Earlier this year the band announced that Kwasniewski-Kelvin would be taking a sabbatical to focus on his mental health, and that their highly anticipated sophomore album would be dropping in May. Preceded by a handful of left-field promotional singles and a string of performances with an expanded line-up (featuring Seth Evans on keys and Kaidi Akinnibi on saxophone), Cavalcade was released on May 26th, a few days before its announced release date. Mostly abandoning the noisy-yet-rhythmic post-punk of their debut, this album chooses instead to go in aβ¦weirder direction.
Writeup by u/AbeFroman1123:
Prologue: Puh-LEASE, Mr. Post-Punk
black midi often gets grouped in with the post-punk scene, and for good reason. Schlagenheim borrowed heavily from the progenitors

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
TLDR: Hey Everyone, I wrote this long post about the Bruins, our 2C struggles, Taylor Hall, Jake DeBrusk and how they all connect. I conclude by suggesting that DeBrusk needs to be traded specifically for a right handed center, and recommend either Nolan Patrick or Vincent Trocheck. Didn't have anywhere else to post this, so I hope you all enjoy and I would love to hear comments and criticism.
The Boston Bruins need some help. After the 2-1 shootout loss to the front office refreshed Vancouver Canucks, the need for secondary scoring beyond the first line and powerplay continue to hamper this team. David Krejci left a Czech Republic sized hole at the center ice position when he elected to play for his hometown team in Olomouc of the Czech Extraliga. While he is enjoying a season close to family, friends, and over a point per game season, he has left the team he spent his entire 15-year career with searching for answers down the middle.
Struggles at Center
The Bruins have been fortunate to have had a solid 1-2 punch in Bergeron and Krejci for over 10 seasons but have struggled to find help at center beyond the two pivots drafted and developed by the team from 2003 and 2004 respectively. Bruins won the cup in 2011 and got to the final in 2013 because behind the two were a combination of Tyler Seguin, Rich Peverley, Gregory Campbell, and Chris Kelly. After years of trying to fill the 3rd and 4th line holes with guys like Carl Soderberg, Ryan Spooner, Max Talbot, Austin Czarnik, Noel Acciari, David Backes, Sean Kuraly (to name more than few), the Bruins acquired Charlie Coyle from the Wild in 2019 for Ryan Donato (another one!) and a fifth-round pick. This trade gave the Bruins the depth needed to make it the Cup final in 2019, and letβs forget what happened after that. In 2021βs second round exit to the fishy hands of the New York Islanders, despite the additions of scoring wingers such as Taylor Hall and Craig Smith, the depth scoring failed to find any consistency, including that of Charlie Coyle. While multiple knee surgeries in the summer could explain his dip in production, the Bruins optimistically relied on a fully recovered Coyle to make up for the loss of Krejci. The other option was the 15-pound heavier Jack Studnicka, who still canβt crack varsity, and is considered to be the Bruins top prospect according to The Athleticβs prospect evaluator, Scott Wheeler.
While Coyle has had a much better start to this season, scoring 14 points in 22

This week at Bungie, we start shaking up the sandbox.
Welcome to the TWAB. Weβve got a lot to cover today so Iβm going to skip the small talk and get into it.
Yesterday, Assistant Game Director and mustache enthusiast Joe Blackburn went out on Twitter and talked about some our upcoming plans regarding Destiny 2 PVP.

Please give the whole thread a read, but for the tl:dr crew, the main thing we want everyone to know is that we have a plan, it's going to take some time, and we are excited about the future of creating a more consistent delivery of PVP content each year.
##The Best of Your Ability
Our teams have been hard at work putting together a lot of changes for next Season. We decided to break out upcoming sandbox changes into three parts. This week we are covering abilities. Next week we will talk about armor and mods, and then we will touch on weapons during the final week before the end of the Season. Here is Combat Gameplay Designer Eric Smith to give you the rundown on how your Guardianβs abilities will be evolving next Season.

If you're new, look for me in my bright red Seattle Humane shirt as 9/10 times I'll be coming straight from my volunteer shift. I will also get a reservation for the group so a little placard should be out as well.

We ask that Please order something, even if it's just one beverage. Optimism is a public bar, and we need to respect their business needs.
