A list of puns related to "Saint Thomas"
I'm on a trip to Saint Thomas and everyone in the party has Verizon on the same account. We all got off the plane and with one exception, all phones immediately switched to "extended network". One phone will not connect to anything except wifi when that's available. It just shows four very faint dots where the service bars normally are located on the screen.
Roaming is turned on, reset network settings, remove sim, flipped back and forth between airplane mode. Been on a dozen calls/chats with Verizon tech with no solution. They keep saying we'll have to contact the International support service which is closed. My understanding is that Saint Thomas is not international calling anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions? It's an iPhone XS Max if that matters.
I mean itβs Michael Thomas and the guy is a baller. Coming off an injury though into an offense that is a hit or miss each week. Jameis does love to throw it. Picked Thomas off the waiver wire last week cause you never know. What do you guys thinkβ¦boom or bust
It is almost week 3. He is expected back week 7 with his bye week already done. The rest of the Saints WRs look insignificant and he is going to come back as the clear top dog. Combine this with a schedule that includes Seahawks, Jets, Titans, Bucs (x2), Falcons, Eagles, Cowboys...
Michael Thomas will probably finish as a WR2 playing half a season this year.
Didn't these men actively oppose the Reformation?
This is based on the assumption that Michael Thomas returns after the New Orleans Saints Week 6 bye.
If the returns Week 7, these are the defenses that he will face on his return:
Week | Opponent | Rank (Higher is better for WR) |
---|---|---|
7 | @Sea | 22 |
8 | TB | 3 |
9 | Atl | 11 |
10 | @Ten | 1 |
11 | @Phi | 32 |
12 | Buf | 24 |
13 | Dal | 5 |
14 | @NYJ | 30 |
These rankings only use the first 2 weeks of the reason for points given to WRs by the team, so they have a lot of noise in them.
For example, the NY Jets ranking of #30 is heavily skewed by their matchup against NE in week 2. They gave up 30.1 PPR points to DJ Moore and Robby Anderson, but only 12.9 PPR points to Jakobi Meyers and Nelson Agholor. The clear difference in QB experience giving the Jets a ranking advantage.
Similarly, the Philadelphia Eagles have only faced a (struggling) Falcons offense and the 49ers (the Yahoo rankings for some reason, don't include Deebo in their scoring - which would make them middle of the pack (low 20's)
The more I learn about his passion for burning people alive the more I lose confidence in the authority of the Church (am told we are required to believe that the Church does not err in declaring sainthood). When I searched for Catholic responses hoping to find this was some misunderstanding on my part, I commonly found statements like, "burning protestants alive would actually be morally permissible, but not prudent in today's age" or "he was doing them a favor by putting an end to their sin, thereby lessening their torments in hell." Like, what?!?! From what I've read, he took real satisfaction in burning these people alive. I'm having trouble remaining part of a group that reveres someone like this. I read once that GK Chesterton wasn't considered for sainthood because his lifestyle was a little too indulgent but like, the guy wasn't burning people alive you know, so like, what on earth is the standard for sainthood? βοΈ
