A list of puns related to "Reactive Dyes"
Hi guys, you are all killing it with cool dyes, I was wondering if any of you came across this difference and know if I am good to use the Reactive dyes? My uncle gave up dyeing and gave them to me; I was wondering if they were the wrong dye in the first place?. I own other Pro Chems that specifically have the Disc Golf label.
Edit: I do know that people were using ProChem before it was ever labeled as a Disc Golf dye and that was a 2021 marketing move by the company noticing a buzz online. Wondering if anyone from the before times knew better.
Hey I am looking to dye some merino wool yarn with dharma procion fiber reactive dyes. This is my first time dying yarn and I am looking for any tips or tricks from anyone who has experience.
I was going to follow this guide. https://www.dharmatrading.com/info/fiber-reactive-dye-dyeing-wool-silk.html
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
I did an ice dye with DyeSpin reactive dye and Iβn not a huge fan. Will that color remover stuff remove reactive dye so I can start over? Or does that only work on those craft store dyes (i.e. rit/tulip)?
Hey there, Iβm a long time lurker for this sub! Does anyone know of any glow in the dark or UV black light reactive dyes? I saw that Tulip has a βReactive Electric Neons Tie Dye Kitβ. Has anyone tried that before? Iβm specifically looking for green tones, but I also regularly mix my own colors from primaries, so yellow & blue could work too. TIA and I love seeing everyoneβs work on here!
I've googled it but to no avail. I would just like any shade of grey
Hello!
I'm relatively new to dying and have been doing a lot of experimentation with dying fabric and yarn. I bought a pound each of Lemon Yellow, Fuschia Red, and Turquoise from Dharma and I want explore developing my own custom colors.
I'm wondering if there is a sort of formula I can follow to get predictable mixing results. I understand that Procion dye pigments mix similarly to the CMYK color system used in printing but I'm not so sure about the potency of each of the 3 colors.
Do Procion dyes mix at true 50/50 for their tertiaries (Red, Green, Blue) or am I correct in the idea that Fuschia tends to overpower anything it's mixed with?
Any input is very welcome.
