A list of puns related to "Quartermaster General"
http://imgur.com/a/LDyL2yV
This is hands down the wackiest knife I have ever handled. It is also the chunkiest knife I've ever handled.
So, this full ti, S35VN monster is on the table today. Literally just got it in the mail with a trade (wanted the other knife in the trade, wanted to try the lock so why not). This knife is on ball bearings, has an external stop and is full ti (discount hinderer + Kershaw ET?).
I bent the pocket clip out a bit, because factory ones have very tight clips that don't really go into the pocket. This one now goes in and out with relative ease. It's also shockingly comfortable. Yes, it's super jimpy, but by God this knife's ergos exceed expectations.
This is #062/300, and it is a fantastic example to try a fancy lock out on. Centering is perfect, and all the pivots are in good order. Comes with box and COA. Only thing wrong with it is some scuffs on the pivot. From what I know, never been disassembled, because fuck me that would be a lot to deal with.
More want to trade, but also up to sell. Hit me with offers!
TV/SV: $180 sold for $150!
CONUS ONLY! G&S ONLY IF MONEY IS INVOLVED! THANK YOU ALL!
Hi, guys! Found this game a day ago, does anyone have it? Is it worth it?
Hi all,
Primarily looking to trade but purchasing is an option too. Let me know if you have either of those two games and we can talk about what I have in my collection.
Cheers.

Cleaning out of of the collection to make room for something a bit more fancy.
Time Stamp and noodz http://imgur.com/a/aDYq30i
SOLD FF Drop Mordrax B SV 225: Saw some pocket time and has some wear on the ano. I am first owner and touched up the blade on a wicked edge. No box SOLD
TwoSun TS78 C SV 120: Looked great but I did not realize how thin the handle was. Integral frame lock, M390, rated C because i sanded down the jimping. It was tearing up my hands.
Quartermaster General Lee 2 C SV 125: This was my first good knife. Carried and sharpened quite a bit. Scuffs and trails are evident. Tail flipper works quite well. EDIT full disclosure there is some surface rust... Price adjusted No box no papers. Attempted 1 handed deployment http://imgur.com/a/i3Q39OH
Gertec Kwaiken Auto B SV 70: Disassembled and cleaned, carried in the pocket and cut paper and tape. I should still have the pouch for this.
He was good at training an army, and that was it. So why not give him a shot?
Up first is the Wicked Edge Eschaton. I rate this as an (B) as it has been carried some. Wasn't shave sharp when it came to me, but it's still got a good edge on it. This thing is a work of art. It looks like it would be uncomfortable to hold on to, but for the size of my hands it fits really well and is just gorgeous to look at. Buttery smooth action too. Asking $300. SOLD
Next is the Quartermaster B.A. Baracas. I rate this as a (B) for the potential pitting (see picture). This is a really cool knife especially if you're like Karambits. Over-engineered to withstand the arrival of the apocalypse, this thing is built like a tank. There is some slight (what looks like) pitting on the blade as you can see in the first picture. It could just be crud build-up but I'm not sure. I haven't really tried too hard to wipe it off because it was hard to get at with my fingernail. Asking $160.
The Quartermaster General Lee. I rate this as a (B) for having been sharpened and the fact that the finish/coating on the handles of this knife don't lend themselves to looking pristine, even though I've mainly just pocketed this knife and carried it around. Not really a user. But Jear Desus, the action on this thing is insane. Here it is flipping open. Here's some awkward one-hand opening and closing. It's a really cool device to open and lock the knife. Asking $200 (SOLD). Forgot to add, this is the only one that doesn't come with the box. I have A box. But it's not the original.
Next up is my heavily modified Benchmade 67. I'm rating this a (C) only because of the mods. Otherwise I'd say it's an (A-). I sent this off to Michael Kuski (@kuski_craft on IG) in order to get work done on it. He put Timascus handles on it that are simply beautiful. With a matching Timascus pocket clip (although it flips better without it). It has "lightning" pattern carbon fiber spacers at the bottom of the handles. Here are some pictures from my IG. A friend of his installed a new bearing system on this blade. The action is amazing. The handles alone on this cost $1,000 and the original

I just finished putting together my first TTS module for one of my favorite games: QMG 2nd Edition. I've also included the Prelude expansion, as the designer has said it is still fully compatible with the 2nd edition.
Here is the BGG link for those unfamiliar with the game: Quartermaster General
And here is the module itself: Quartermaster General 2nd Edition w/ Prelude
As this is my first module, please let me know if you see any errors or issues I may have missed.
Enjoy!

how can Italy build an army? per the rules, pg. 12 - "Your piece is supplied if you can trace a supply line. A supply line is a continuous line of spaces from a piece to its own countryβs Home space, each occupied by one of that countryβs pieces. The Home space itself must be occupied by the countryβs own Army. You cannot trace supply through other countriesβ pieces, not even when you are playing a Power with two countries." and then pg. 13 - "When you are directed to build a piece, place a piece on an appropriate space: Armies on Land, Navies at Sea. A piece may only be built in a space if it will be in supply at the moment it is built."
and Italy does not start with an army on the map, so they can't be supply, so they just can't use their Build Army cards?
I just got a copy of quartermaster general and love it! Just like the box says it is a fast paced WWII strategy game. It goes quickly, there is a lot of fun strategy and building up combos and thinking ahead of opponents, and it feels like WWII.
It surprised me that I had never heard of this game and it is so good. Such an easy to learn wargame with lots of strategy that doesn't take more than 2 hours.
Why haven't I heard of this game? Does anyone remember if it was a big deal when it came out originally?

Bunch of stuff for sale this time. First things first, prices are negotiable especially for multiples. The only trades I'm looking for in particular are Sebenzas with custom graphics AND cabochons (together) in damascus. Other trades considered but I'll be much more picky
Now on to the good stuff:
Quartermaster General Lee 2 in Texas Tea B
Sv/Tv: 220 TRADED
Quartermaster gets a bad rap sometimes, but you can't go wrong with a G&G Hawk collab. More modern Kershaw ET in Titanium and S35vn. Great knife with an amazing aesthetic, and the most opening methods of a single knife I've seen.
Carried and used very lightly. Sharpened professionally by Andy at River's Edge Cutlery to fix the questionable factory edge. Comes with box and COA
Microtech Ultratech Hellhound CF with ringed Ti hardware B-
Sv/Tv: 400 SOLD
One of the most beautiful Microtechs I've had, but I've decided to get out of OTFs at least for now. Gorgeous knife with great F&F and attention to detail.
Slight damage to the clip, but fires hard and has never been cut with. Comes with box and paperwork
Matthew Martin 500 TiZrCf B+
Sv/Tv: 200
Reduced! 175
Decided to get into fountain pens so I'm selling off my rollerballs, otherwise I'd keep this one. Takes a Fisher Space Pen refill. CF grip, zirconium body and Ti glass breaker and threads.
Slight scratching on the Zirc but otherwise perfect. Comes with tube and paperwork.
Benchmade Tactical Pen in Damasteel B
Sv/Tv: 200
Reduced! 175
Beautiful pen and the only one I've seen in damasteel, but like I said I'm getting out of rollerballs. Benchmade fans can match their edcs perfectly now ;p
The etching is wearing in a line where the cap posts on the back, but otherwise the pen looks perfect. Uses a Fisher Space pen refill and comes with the proprietary Benchmade refill in blue. Comes with box and all paperwork.
Feel free to ask any and all questions, and thanks for looking!
To the Quartermaster experts. Looking for reviews about the original QM, I discovered that the last chapter of the QM series is now on Kickstarter. I am intrigued by the theme and accessibility of the original QM and there are very positive reviews out there (and here too). The problem that it needs 6 players to be played at its best concerns me. The new chapter seems to be more scalable, it is probably best played by 3 players, but each deck can be easily split, so the player count can be up to 6. However, since I don't have any experience with previous QM games I have no idea how this game compares in terms of accessibility (I read for example that the QM 1914 is more difficult than the original). Any thoughts? Thank you.
I'm enticed by the idea of a 6 player WWII team game that doesn't require a massive rules overhead. I've seen mixed reviews of Quartermaster General and wanted to see what r/boardgames thinks about it.
Does it hold up? Is it improved by its expansions? Is there anything out there currently that does its idea better?

I just came across Quartermaster General: Victory or Death - The Peloponnesian War and was pleased to see it's still in stock unlike the WW2 and 1914 QMG. It looks like the largest unstated difference in game play is the player count though. I don't know if it was intentional or not in differentiating the various games in the series but the original QMG plays best with 6, QMG 1914 with 5, and QMG VorD is 4. If that's the case I will probably just opt for VorD as it's in stock and the rest are not!
On a side note a commentor on BGG described QMG games as a euro style area control war game, which reminded me of Cole Wehrle calling Root a war game in disguise for euro players.

They are both numbered editions from a run of 300, although I can't remember the numbers I'd have to look them up.
I love these knives, they are fantastic G&G designed functional works of art. They have three methods of opening, including one completely unique to this knife (clip flip).
However it is time for me to move on from complete safe queens, so someone else can enjoy these BNIB beauties and maybe actually carry and use them.
I am opening these to trades as well
