A list of puns related to "Puppet State"
As a Belgian who loves both Georgia and Armenia, it's sad to see how Armenia seems to have no other choice than to become a puppet state of Putin. Armenia can't bend towards the West without risking a full on invasion, as the West is unable and seemingly unwilling to defend Armenia against Turkish and Azeri acts of aggression. Armenia cannot risk to lose Russia as an ally, as it would mean the death sentence for Armenia as an independent country. So the only way for Armenia to survive, seems to be assisting a dictator when he is actively suppressing the will of the Kazakh people. They legitimately protest against their corrupt and authoritarian leader, but are forced to remain in a dictatorship because it suits Russia better. The same has happened in Belarus, which would have ousted Lukashenko if Putin did not intervene. It might even have been closer to something of a democracy by now. The Kazakhs don't stand any chance now. I see how Turkish people suffer under Erdogan, how Russian people suffer under Putin and how Armenians suffer from both. One would almost wish that Armenia was geographically positioned in the center of the European Union. Things would have been way easier. What do you think of this situation? Are there illogical inconsistenties in my geopolitical view?
Remember this
So I made a post a little while ago with the idea of puppet states. These would be nations you form from the captured territory that you have full control of yet are separate entities in themselves.
Here are the strengths:
-Morale boost of 35% (25 + 35)
-increased troop production (2-4 days)
-increased political positive opinion in the news
-can operate by themselves
Maybe some setbacks to even it out:
-If invaded, it is such that you are losing land
-If re-captured, bonuses will be cut by 50%
-If state is captured, then morale goes down by 15% (100 - 15)
Let me know what are your thoughts on this!
If you annex a puppet, you get a core on all their states. But what if you take territory then puppet? when you eventually annex them do you get all core, or just core for the current states?
Form reason ALL the puppets were liberated in my mod except for the chinese And i can't add any
In my opinion, it would be really cool to be able to form a bot puppet state with captured lands! Like letβs say youβre France and you establish the confederacy of the Rhine. This bot is its own entity yet you can control like your own land. This boosts morale in these lands and increases the production in them. What are your thoughts on this?
I Personally Dont See Practical Use of Puppets In RoN But I Do Want to See What People Think To Make Puppets More Useful
What type of ruler is most likely to be ruler of a puppet state?
Let's say that the USSR was a puppet state after World War 2. What if, instead of being a democracy, it became a puppet state?
Since the fact that they have the same map color likely implies it
We are on 1.5, the next level is 2.0 and this idea would alter the game like how the 1.0 to 1.5 shift was (still pissed they removed ALL 1.0 games permanently not even a few throwback games on special occasions but whatever)
So let's say you are Spain and you in a world game invade the french, you could either do that and only get a measly 25% of France's resources or ask France if they want to be spared and be an official vassal state for Spain from anywhere from a day to 7 days, they have to pay (and it is built in the game mechanics) a percentage of their income for all resources (idk what would be a sensible amount), they can still live, can't cancel the agreement on either side, and their will be a mini Spanish flag on France in the diplomacy list to symbolise ownership and Spain is written underneath France, like Denmark is written under Greenland on irl maps. Obviously Spain will have share map with France, but Spain can change Frances relation with Spain to Share map or ROW depending on the personal preference and paranoia of Spain. As France you can still build and do most stuff normally but if you want to declare war or go to war with any nation their oppressor (Spain) must approve it, until then they can't start wars. Maybe Spain could have the ability to read their vassals DM's but this idea seems kind of invasive so Idk. And as Spain while you can't build in your vassal you can use their stuff to make troops so you can use your vassal for military purposes too (and faster due to morale not being 25-35%), BUT if your capital is taken all vassals gain immediate independence and you can only have 2 vassals at any time or 3 if you are high command.
Advantages:
-You don't need too much defence on new especially huge and possibly far flung land as your vassal still has an army (and possibly easier to manage as part of your empire may be awake when your timezone is asleep)
-Better for the economy, especially in the short term
-If you are loosing you could survive by being a vassalage and maybe change your owners mind and ally with or gain independence from him rather than loose
Disadvantages:
-Loss of freedom
-Having to wait for your owner to finish his troops for you to use your own building
- Chance of going AFK and an AI vassal could be less smart
-Not gaining those victory points
- Economic hardship for the vassal state on a personal level
The rapacious oligarchy is ordering our captured political class to escalate their wealth extraction from the population - that means you. Whatever political party you vote for has one agenda: to carry out the orders of its globalist pimps and puppetmasters. By participating in this charade, you are sanctioning your own fleecing.
Millions could be forced to tear up their retirement plans under a major overhaul of the state pension age.
A review announced by the Department for Work and Pensions yesterday could pave the way for plans to increase the state retirement age for those born in the 1970s by seven years.
I stay crying about it Habibi, how can you not? π’
Edit: I forgot to add GREED to that list π€ππ’
