Does anyone know if there’s a way to get postage stamps delivered or picked up contactless? I was hoping to finish my Christmas cards today (yes, last minute) but I don’t think I have enough stamps in the house. I’m currently waiting in line to be swabbed for some minor symptoms (triple vaxxed so I can’t be certain it’s nothing) so obviously I can’t just run into a store.
BASED UPON A TRUE STORY: My mother went to the Post Office to buy some addition postage stamps to use on Christmas cards. She had several years of left over stamps she wanted to use up on this year's Christmas cards, so she explained to the Postal Clerk why she needed the extra postage stamps.
But my mom was taken aback when the clerk asked her, what denomination of stamps she needed?
"Oh my, has it come to this now?
Well, let me think. I'll need 6 Methodist, 8 Lutheran, 10 Catholic, 5 Presbyterian, and I think 3 Anglicans."
