A list of puns related to "Otto Graham"
First all time with 9 Yards per attempt, 89th all time in passing yards, 66th all time in passing TDs, and he played just 126 games, which would be 8 seasons of football in the current era.
For a comparison a guy like Mahomes, who is off to one of the hottest and fastest starts all time for a career, will still need 6 seasons to pass Graham in both categories.
Oh and there's the whole went to 10 straight championships in pro football and won 7 of them stat, 6 time MVP, 7 time all pro as well.
If you don't have Graham in your top 10 of all time for QBs, at the absolute worst, you're evaluating QBs wrong.
Graham did it in December 1951

Yesterday, the 49ers announced that linebacker Art Michalik has passed away at the age of 91. Michalik spent two years in San Francisco before being shipped off to the Steelers, and the Korean War serviceman would also become an NWA pro wrestling champion.
As a rookie in 1953, Michalik was involved in a game that featured something that would become as normal to football fans and players as breathing: the facemask.
#Michalik the Marine
A Chicago native and son of a police sergeant, Michalik stood out at St. Ambrose College in Iowa as he was named an honorable-mention Little All-American in football and won 33 straight matches in wrestling, with only four losses in NCAA/AAU tournaments. He even came close to making the 1952 U.S. Olympic wrestling team and was offered a chance to join a team of college stars on a tour to either Japan or Turkey. However, he turned down these as he wished to pursue pro football, especially as the 49ers had selected him in the 17th round of the 1951 Draft. However, another draft got in the way: the military.^[1]
With the Korean War raging, Michalik was drafted into the Marine Corps but he did not have to cross the Pacific to fight as he was instead assigned to Marine Corps Barracks Treasure Island inβconvenientlyβthe San Francisco Bay. At the base, he was appointed as recreational assistant and joined the football team, where he was the captain, starting right tackle, and kickoff and extra point specialist. Considering the barracks' location, he reached out to the 49ers about keeping their interest in him as he and the Treasure Island Pirates ran the table in their 1952 season. Certainly intrigued, they sent a scout to their upcoming game against the Pittsburg Buccaneers. After the Pirates won 31β14, the 49ers were eager to get him on the roster once he left the Corps in 1953.^[2]
While he was not formally discharged until October 9, he was allowed to join the 49ers on accrued terminal leave. In an interview, the rookie said, "The 49ers got me down as a guard. I should be weighed in at 225. I think I'll make the team. Sure am going to try."^[3]
Sure enough, he did, playing on the line on both sides of the ball. On defense, he was the team's middle guard and also played linebacker.

He also won NFL MVP 3 times, and currently holds the record for most yards per attempt, and best win percentage for a QB. All this in an era the qb could get very roughed up. The Browns first year as an NFL team he won them a championship.
Closest guy football has to Bill Walton. Ten championship games in a row with 7 victories is sensational.
Is he the best player of all time?
7 for each. What a legend.
