TIL that the copyright for Anne Franke's diary was due to expire in 2016. To prevent it from falling into public domain, in 2015 the Anne Frank foundation added her father Otto Frank as a co-author.

Recently, I ordered a pound of Otto II, with a COA claiming 7.3% THCa, and four different ten ounce salves from Veteran Grown Hemp. A friend's shop just sent a sample of the same Otto II from VG to be retested. This test came back showing the THCa is only 0.66%, and the salves I got were also significantly smaller than advertised. This was my email to the company:
"Hello it has come to my attention that the Otto I recently got was nowhere near the advertised THCa. We had it retested and also the salves I ordered were 10oz and only came as 2oz. Needless to say I am quite disappointed and it's my first time shopping with your company. I included some attachments. What can we do about this?
Thank you for your time."
What I received back was totally appalling, and unacceptable.
"There was an error in the website pricing, so I apologize but 10oz salves are $70 so no you can not get a 10oz for $11.25. Our 2oz salves are $28 but we wanted to send double to be nice. Secondly I have personally had those labs done and received the results. Honestly I have no clue what flower you sent off, why it was sent off, or what the bias is but those labs are not of Otto 2."
Attached are some images to back up my claims. They claim to have sent me double to be nice, but I ordered four salves, ten ounces each, and the website said $11.25 each for ten ounces. I got four salves at only two ounces each. This does not even add up to the amount of one of the salves I ordered.

Why didn't Otto Frank share a room with Fritz Pfeffer?
I was re-reading Anne Frank's diary, and I know many have asked the question of why Anne Frank had to share a room with Fritz Pfeffer (aka Mr Dussel). In my mind, I'm just wondering why Otto didn't share with him instead, so that Anne could share with Margot and her mother. Is it because it would be indecent for 2 men to share a room together? Seems a bit strange if that's the case considering men would've had to share quarters if they were in the military. I get that it would've been more complicated if Anne swapped beds with Peter because then she would be in close proximity to Peter's parents while Peter would have been next door to Edith and Margot.

Today on June 12th, Anne Frank would be 92 Years Old. She is remembered for documenting the events taking place in WWII Germany in her journal which would later become published years later by her father, Otto.

Brothers Otto and Robert Frank in the German Army in 1915. Otto (father of Anne Frank) served in the artillery. Does anyone know what artillery regiment he was in? It says “3” on his helmet cover but I can’t find anything.
TIL about Miep Gies, the woman who hid Anne Frank and her family. She hid them in the Secret Annex for 25 months until they were found by the Gestapo. She survived because the officer who found her felt bad, but sent the others to the camps. She later gave Otto Frank Anne's diary and died in 2010.
