The fleet grows: Hulls 9 and 10 Motor Torpedo Boats
Since I have nearly 40 hours in this game now, I thought I should actually start a campaign. So I needed some small starter craft. It's quite fun trying to cram everything you need into such small craft, and balance and seaworthiness is definitivly a challenge. Though slower than the Bluejay, I'm more proud with the Kestrel, since it runs beautifully with a single rudder as the only control surface, compared to Bluejays propeller turning, ACB-controlled planing and roll control jets. Also it looks way cooler.

The H8-C, newly christened "Dodo" (because it might be slow, clumsy and not long for this world, but packs a mean peck), is updated with a simple 179mm deck mounted DIF-gun to cover the blind zone, and give some notion of defence agains light, mobile targets. In addition is a reworked firecontrol system, and a couple of flare launchers to somewhat mitigate the ships complete
