I bought a pre-built gaming PC awhile back, and swapped out a lot of the parts and have been using it pretty comfortably now. However, after a few events (Jumping to Win 11, getting new audio drivers, using a new pair of headphones with an audio DAC and generally downloading a lot of software) I've suddenly started to have this effect where the audio will kind of 'buzz' or misfunction. At first I thought it was the audio dac, so I unplugged it and stopped using it, still happens. I tried with monitor speakers, normal headphones, my new headphones, bluetooth headphones, etc.. still always happens. I did a full hard reset of the PC and it still happens. The only two things left I can imagine are that it's either A) something windows 11 related or B) a hardware issue. I don't terribly want to jump back to windows 10 and reset everything again, but i'm probably going to at least *try* doing that sometime soon here. If that fails though, is my best bet to just try swapping out the motherboard?
Hello again to you all, I’m in need of your guidance once again lol. I would like to use the Show Area function in metadata but for some reason some maps only show wrong names (names that had before, like Example town) or just nothing (the show area display appears, but don’t say anything, it’s blank) I could'nt find anything on how to fix this, anyone by chance knows what’s wrong here? as you should have know, there are too much much issues with UniFi APs around whenever you have Fast Roaming (802.11r) activated.
It is because the drivers have issues not very well implementing it and differently between the Mediatek (MTK) and Qualcom (QCA) Chipsets and the 2.4 and 5 GHz Band. But this would be easy to fix, when they just want to do it. The so called AKMs propagated to WiFi-Clients are missing. In Detail check the community forum, as excerpted some details in below, too.

Hello, I have a MSI GS65 laptop.
In order to connect my PC to internet through ethernet, I have to go to devices manager, select the device (E2500), driver tab, and desactivate/activate the hardware in order for him to connect.
Even though the ethernet cable is already connected and everything else is functionnal, without this step I can't connect. Once I does it, everything is fine until i put the computer in standby. I will then need to do again this procedure.
Do you think you can help me ?

The thing is that there are so many weird interactions and bugs on this hero which seem to be straight out ignored. Sylla bear is my most played hero (~ 400 games, 65% win rate) and today I'd like to give you list of all the bugs I recognized.
1.: Runes.
The spirit bear is able to pick up every rune. The problem is that he is NOT gaining effects from illusion, double damage and bounty rune ( half effect only --> no xp gain). Some of you guys may remember, that some patches ago hero hit boxes were prioritized on rune hit boxes. (Level 1 bounty could be blocked by standing on top of it). however, the bears hitbox was not changed in that regard so it's basically impossible to grab a rune when an enemy hero is around. This was possible when bounties were released.
2.: illusions Sprit bear can not spawn illusions from runes or manta style. Morphling also can't use ult on bear.
3.: Damage Type
Spirit bear does not deal hero damage. If you hit a hero with it, he only receives 75% of your damage that is supposed to be dealt. This again means that all of your farm is worth 25% less compared to any other hero in the game. So even if you were top net worth, u can't even utilize all of your gold. What would you say if ur carry got 25% less gold of every last hit, tower kill, assist, rosh,....?
4.: bears hits are not counted as "hits" on Phoenix ult.
Makes absolutely no sense, is caused by the previous bug.
5.: bears demolish (+40% dmg on buildings) does not work on tombstone
Yes, tombstone is defined as a building. Yet demolish is not applied. (EDIT: WRONG! PLS IGNORE :D)
6.: brewmaster haze, clap, tinker laser, Magnus rp, neutral centaur stomp use creep timings on spirit bear. (Lasts longer)
Huge deal. Annoying. Senseless.
7.: spirit bear cannot access stash
For example, you have a full, inventory in bear, just completed an item with one component on bear and one in stash, it doesn't automatically unifiy them. U have to put on item on the ground and manually drag in the other components. Annoying as hell.
- : shop window gets closed when switching units
Unnecessary mechanic, which costs time.
9.: summoning spirit bear does not purge slows etc.
Every time you spawn the bear, it's counted as a fresh unit. That's why entangle and recall cooldowns are reset every time as well. (EDIT: MISTAKES WERE MADE, CD is not reset on spawn, only works as you level

1st time : the TAB key stops working on a Ducky Channel 3 within 2 months of buying it. RMA'd it.
2nd time : within one month, another Ducky Channel 3, the UP now breaks, I can't hold it for more than 1 second (chatter i think).
3rd time : I give up on the Ducky Channel, i buy a Steelseries 6GV2 instead. this one works for 6 months, then it's the CAPS LOCK key that stops working. For fuck's sake !
4th time : Another RMA and 6months later, another 6GV2, my e key stops working...
I just don't know if it's me, if it's expected or anything...
Apparently it's a common problem, but sorry, every manufacturer claims almighty that their keyboards are super solid, 50 millions press as life expectancy... In the meantime, my $10 Microsoft keyboard has been working perfectly fine for 4 years before I switched to mechanical.
I'm not treating my keyboard badly at all, I just press goddamned keys, that's all. The worst it gets is an occasionnal trip on the subway in a bag.
So what am I doing wrong ? Could someone explain to me how do you prevent a key from breaking ?

Hi, when alt+zoom with the mouse scroll wheel it only goes all the way no matter the distance I scroll. Zooming with the trackpad is fine. Tried a different mouse and this is happening on photoshop as well.

Hello, I need support for a PC issue that's driving me insane.
I made my PC in October 2020, and it ran without problems until last week (since now, I only experienced a BSOD caused by a wrong overclock, which I fixed soon after by removing the OC).
Now I am experiencing a weird issue: one day, out of nowhere, my keyboard started to misfunction for few seconds, a couple of times during the day.
The intensity increased and as you can see in the video (link at the bottom), few days later suddenly my keyboard turned off (the RGB lights are off and it doesn't work at all, even if the device management says it's plugged in) and soon after, the monitor started to go black intermittently for few seconds, degenerating into a definitive black screen (but the monitor is still on when this happens). Also, the mouse started stuttering and losing its smoothness on the screen (when it wasn't black).
In other words, it started lightly and then degenerated, making my PC unusable.
I took it to the assistance and tried RAM test, CPU and GPU stress test that went PERFECTLY, so it's not something about them. The problem happens randomly during the days: some days it doesn't appear at all, some days the pc is unusable. Also, it happens even if I'm not playing anything, just by watching video on youtube, for example.
Things that might be important or not:
- The issue started after downloading No Man's Sky from steam, and most of times it happened while playing it, even if that is not a necessary condition for the problem to appear;
- I tried my pc at the assistance and at my girlfriend's house, and the problem didn't show off at all;
- Everytime it happens, Windows doesn't detect ANY problem at all, not hardware nor software;
- I already resetted the CMOS;
- All components are new, and worked fine until last week. Here's the list:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100
MOBO: B450M DS3H-CF , BIOS version: F50
RAM 16GB DDR4
GPU: GTX 1660 SUPER
PSU: EVGA 600BR (600W)
OS (W10 Home) installed on SSD 500GB

I've reinstalled the game. Members of my party can hear me, but I can't hear them. Anyone else know how to fix this? I've submitted bug reports via the game.
Not sure if this has to do with the audio behaving differently with the Zero Point or not.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
