Thoughts on Marshmallow Fluff as an Ingredient?
I'm planning to make a s'mores ice cream by creating a marshmallow-flavored base and adding dark chocolate straciatella plus graham cracker pieces as a mix-in. I found a few marshmallow-flavored ice cream recipes online and none of them looked quite right, but they did seem to use marshmallow fluff to substitute for sugar/corn syrup. My own personal base recipe calls for 200g table sugar and 50g light (Karo) corn syrup, and the jar of marshmallow fluff I bought includes 120g of sugar per the nutritional label. I thought I might use the whole jar and make up the difference with an additional 80g sugar and 50g corn syrup, and make the rest of the base as-is (probably with a little vanilla extract). What do you think?
Does anyone have experience using marshmallow fluff as an ingredient?
(For reference, my base recipe is: 340g whole milk, 460g heavy whipping cream, 50g light corn syrup, 3 egg yolks, 200g sugar, 60g skim milk powder, 5g Cremodan 30, and a pinch of salt)

Take a packet of hot cocoa mix, pour coffee in it instead of hot water or milk, add a bit of creamer or chocolate milk or whatever you want, maybe some marshmallow fluff or whipped cream, and stir. Enjoy your delicious coffee drink that only cost like a buck to make. Follow me for more “recipes.”

0 calorie marmallow dip. Happens to be vegan. Sucralose sweetener. Tastes very sweet with lots of vanilla. Not the same texture as marshmallow fluff, it's more of a....thick pudding consistency....but not smooth. Kinda grainy. Might be good mixed with other things.

Tip: Marshmallow fluff only has 40 calories and 6g sugar/2tbsp (much less than most jellies) is made with only 4 ingredients, and taste much better imo. 2tbsp pb, 2tbsp fluff, 2 rice cakes = 300 cals. Great for sugar cravings

I need to use marshmallow cream ( Fluff) as a filling. I read about it turning runny if it is used this way. If I used a couple of teaspoonfuls of cornflour would that stabilize it to be used as a filling along with the gelatine being incorporated too and the cornflour would stop it from running? Or..would this ruin the taste and texture. Thank you.
Marshmallow Snow Cream post melt review--- this is one of my new favorites. Yummy and authentic sweet vanilla marshmallow with a 6.5/10 throw. It's a very cozy scent and smells better than B&BW Marshmallow Fluff from Easter. Would highly recommend if you like vanilla!
