The results for the poll goes as follows:
- Mat (by far), he had 47% in the finals where there were six characters
- Rand
- Perrin
- Lan
- Nyneave
- Loial
- Moiraine
- Min
- Aviendha
- Egwene
- Faile
- Elayne
I was pleasantly surprised that Loial was so high. I also expected Nyneave to be a couple of places higher. I also knew that Lan was loved by the fandom, but I definitely didnt expect him to be above Nyneave and Moiraine. Anyone surprised by anything else?
Note: this is not the "12 most popular characters", but a "ranking of these 12 characters by the popular vote". otherwise Thom and Verin would probably be here. I picked the 12 most "major" characters, since reddit can't do polls for more than 6, and I couldn't be bothered to do quarter finals. Also due to the way the poll was split, it wasn't necessarily completely fair. i.e 6 and 7 may have swapped if this wasn't the case. But I think that for the most part, it's pretty accurate. I've also deleted the 4 total polls, because I don't want to clog up this subreddit with lots of closed polls.
I also find it quite funny that there were only 5 males out of the 12, but all 5 were in the top 6, which I think certainly says something about how annoying some of RJ's women can be.
Personally I'd rank them Rand, Mat, Nyneave, Perrin, Moiraine, Loial, Min, Lan, Aviendha, Faile, Elayne, Egwene.
