A list of puns related to "Hudson's Bay Company"
I was all keen to get modding only to learn that (once again) us intel Mac users are way behind the times and don't get to play with the newest toys.
So, here are my two cultures I hope to develop - please tear them down and tell me what is not possible / foolish.

Canada could do with an invader, I think, and what better than some poor misled souls attempting to reenact a major part of Canadian history? The AtE HBC would be a Colonial/MR government invasion but of a local culture--I wanna say Ontarian--and would set up shop in Jamesie/Eeyou Istchee. That part of Canada is often boring anyway.
I was reading the thread about the British East India Company, and the answer about how using companies rather than governments was common in early colonialism. And that reminded me how Canada was much the same with the Hudson's Bay Company. But HBC/The Bay still exists as a department store chain, very different from the network of fur traders and posts that governed much of Canada for 200 or so years, but still a clear lineage between the companies. And it got me wondering, did any other colonial companies survive the end of that era of colonialism? Do they survive to this day?
