Hello Fathers,
today we have the feast day of the Solemnity of Mary, which is a holy day of obligation where I happen to live. Since it falls on Saturday this year, does that mean that if I attend mass at 6PM I have also fulfiled my obligation to attend Sunday mass? Or am I still obligated to do to mass on Sunday morning?

I have an idea. Namely, every Saturday on this subreddit, we study the Holy Bible together and preach about God and Jesus. What do you think about this?
It would just be nice to devote every Saturday here to studying and interpreting the Bible, with links to their verses and discussing them. And then, in fact, very little is told about God here and little attention is paid to the Holy Bible, mainly the scenario and rituals of the occult elite are discussed here, which can work in the opposite direction, namely, people's departure from faith in God and Jesus and their introduction to occultism. It seems to me that it is necessary not just to reveal the plans of the haters of God, but also to go deeper into the study of the Holy Bible, explaining to people what and how by the example of verses from it, because many people who come here have not even read the Bible, let alone study it, and may perceive some things incorrectly.

Does anyone else find it weird that the Duggars held a wedding on Holy Saturday?
So I don’t participate in any form of organized religion anymore, but I was raised Episcopalian and still believe in the basic tenets of Christianity.
The Saturday before Easter is known as “Holy Saturday” or “black Saturday”, depending on denomination. It’s a day of somber reflection, and some churches treat it as a day of mourning for Jesus, who (according to their canon) has died and is in the tomb. Many churches limit their services on this day.
We know the Duggars are giant fucking hypocrites who bastardize the actual words of Jesus Christ to push their hateful, discriminatory agenda, but it still kinda shocks me that they would have a wedding on this day. Even for Duggars, weddings (even arranged marriages) are supposed to be joyful occasions.
TLDR: the day before Easter is a somber holy day and having a wedding that day is fucking weird.
Edit: today I learned that apparently Holy Week is not practiced by many churches/denominations, which I find fascinating. I still think it’s weird to have a wedding on this day. Thanks for all the info!

Mine only does Genesis, the Book of Jonah, and Daniel. It's unfortunate that these are omitted to save time considering how important they are. Wondering if this is the same everywhere.
