Not even gonna tell which one I got, in case people think I'm shilling. Point is, I've been using these mediocre (+/- US $50) beard trimmers for almost 10 years (!) to cut my hair. Just randomly, I ordered a more expensive professional one online....and what the ACTUAL f*** have I've been doing all these years!?? It cuts so much better, faster, cleaner, etc. ... I can't even believe it. I mean, if you cut your own hair, you easily save those the $200 a more expensive one costs in less than a year anyway. I feel like an complete idiot for waiting this long. Don't be me.
I don't know why I didn't do this much sooner. I wish I had. I've never cared much about styling my hair or doing anything unusual with it. So for a guy like me, this is a perfect solution.
I just used the longest attachment on the clippers, a 7. This works out just fine. Just be sure you get it all. I can't see the back of my own head very well, so I had my wife use scissors to cut the hair along the nape of my neck straight. That took about 10 seconds.
I guess you could use mirrors or a mirror + a cellphone camera to see the back of your head and get a straight cut at the back.
Looking for clippers that will last and will cut my hair effectively, without breaking the bank. Ideally corded.
I'm looking at the Oster Fast Feed, but at $80 for the kit its quite a lot. Is it really worth it, or should I go with one of the cheaper Wahl's? I had intended to spend about $30 or $40 but I don't know if I can get something that'll last for that price.
I just need something that'll cut my hair. The trimmer I tried to use leaves the edges long. I assume it's too weak to cut through the thin hair, but I'm not a hair expert, I just grow the stuff.

I have a lot of chest/belly hair. Like Wolfman. I like having body hair and have no interest shaving it bald. It just grows pretty long and I like how it looks to have it just a little shorter.
Does anyone have any clipper recommendations that are good for getting every hair? Something with really fine teeth? I’ve tried a lot of different ones from Target ranging in different prices, but most seem to skip a lot of hairs, especially more wavy ones. I’m tired of having to go over my whole front torso over and over for 45 minutes. Lol
