And of course are notes are all different, Scottish notes only less known. I once attempted to purchase a drink with a Guernsey tenner and the owner of the bar eventually got called in to decide if it was acceptable. It was decided not to be legal tender. I guess the exchange rate of one pound to a pound is quite difficult.
