Iβve had very bad heartburn and other symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease recently on was prescribed a proton pump inhibitor, Dexilant. It clearly states that you should not drink alcohol on Dexilant and while experiencing symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease the papers the doctor gave me also said not to have coffee, alcohol, chocolate, and many greasy/spicy/fatty foods. There was no mention of weed, but I was wondering if I could still take edibles on it, thanks.
Please if you have any experience please please tell me which doctor you saw and if you have any feedback on the doctor?
Thank you
Because you warm my heart
I've been belching for a while now and unfortunately I can't go to the hospital to get this checked because of the enhanced community quarantine in my city. I have researched many home remedies about this on how to stop belching but I think those are not enough. Does anyone know any effective home treatments for GERD/acid reflux? And what types of food I should not take. If anyone has some known home treatments please let me know. Its affecting my daily routine and I get so anxious every time I sleep because the burping just gets worse. Thank you and have a nice day everyone.
The aim of this study was to investigate if a dietary supplementation containing: melatonin, l-tryptophan, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, methionine and betaine would help patients with GERD,
All patients of the group A (100%) reported a complete regression of symptoms after 40 days of treatment. On the other hand, 115 subjects (65.7%) of the omeprazole reported regression of symptoms in the same period

Hello my fellow Crohnies. I've been diagnosed for a year with crohns and on remicade doing well, I barely have any symptoms. Since Friday, I have had upper abdominal and back burning and pain spasms. I finally went to the hospital today(couldn't get through to my doctor) and all my tests came back normal, so they think it is gastroesophageal reflux disease or just acid reflux. I'm on some sort of medication on it for the next two weeks. The weird part is I didn't eat anything unusual or triggering during the last week, but the pain is/was terrible, the medication takes 2/3 days to work apparently. I did some research and it appears gastroesophageal reflux disease has some ties with Crohn's disease, so I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue and what their experience was/is? I will be booking an appt with my doctor as soon as possible as my next one isn't until October.
Hi reddit this is my first time posting in this sub, does anyone else here with anxiety also suffer from GERD when experiencing anxiety symptoms? If so, what are some ways you help yourself get through it?
