A list of puns related to "French Baccalaureate"
Hello please so I took The OIB course since 10th grade and itβs a rigourous course in the French system I just wanna know if itβs considered a Honor, AP, high honors ... or something like this
Just wanna know what were your HS average out of 20 (1ere and Terminale) to get an idea of what is a good grade range to get in UofT Art/Sci (specifically CS for me).
Does anyone take the French Bac and applies through UCAS? I just feel like I am the only one
I am from the Philippines and Iβm looking at colleges to apply to, and all of them say I need a french baccalaureate or equivalent, and all the answers on google are unclear. Is it like a high school diploma?
Hi everyone!
I am currently applying to TU Delft on osiaan.tudelft.nl and need some help. I am a Lebanese student and I'm on my way to getting a French Baccalaureate diploma.
Thank you for your help!
Bonjour!
I am an incoming junior in high school, and will be taking the IB French B SL course. For grade 10 students (I was in grade 10 this past academic year), my school offers 4 levels of French: French 3 and French 4. I was in the French 3 class, which is less advanced than the French 4 class, and therefore will have a bigger jump moving into IB SL French B.
To ensure I do well in this class, I want to solidify my understanding of the pre-requisites of IB SL French B. Can somebody tell me the pre-requisites of IB French B SL, and online websites/courses where I can cover them? Thank you!!

My french baccalaureate exams are in about a week and Iβm so stressed I canβt sleep. Whenever I go to bed stressed over exams my heart does this incredibly annoying thing where it beats really hard. Iβm so tired and all I want is to fall asleep but my heart just beats so freaking loud and fast that I can only focus on it. Itβs such a bizarre experience too because my mind will be so drained and quiet and tired while my heart completely misses the point and goes on thumping erratically. I donβt know how to make it relax either, Breathing exercises havenβt helped much.
I think all of this has to do with the fact that Iβm about to pass the exams Iβve been dreading since I was 12 and Iβm so terrified of failing them. Thereβs just wayyy too much to know and memorize. Thatβs another thing I hate about the French system: itβs all memorization. Seriously. Iβve become so good at memorizing itβs almost impressive, except for the fact that itβs completely pointless because as soon as I write everything down and pass the exam, all the information just dissolves into the abyss. I also hate how Iβve felt like a walking failure every second of this school year. Iβve just been so disappointed with my grades this year Iβm genuinely scared Iβll so bad on the bac.
Phew. Ok.
I just needed to externalize my thoughts and calm the heck down. Iβm now going to attempt to fall asleep and relax.
Vivement lβΓ©tΓ©.
Just curious has anyone done a French baccalaureate and has requested credits for certain courses because I believe I am due credits I havenβt received

Queen (Now Princess) Beatrix of the Netherlands (b. 1938)
Beatrix was Queen from 1980 until her abdication in 2013. She succeeded her mother as Queen after her mother abdicated.
She attended primary school in Canada while in exile during the war, then completed secondary school in the Netherlands. She has an (honorary?) law degree from Leiden University.
Abdication:
It is normal for the Dutch royals to abdicate in favor of their heirs. Upon her abdication, the Queen had this to say:
βthe reason for me to step back now is not because the office is too much of a strain [it is not]. I am abdicating because I am convinced that the responsibility for our country should now move to the next generation".
The Queen has three younger sisters: Irene, Margriet, and Christina.
Marriage:
Married Claus von Amsberg, a German diplomat, in 1966. The two met for the first time on NYE at the dinner party of a distant relative. They met again at a wedding and their relationship began.
There was strong opposition to the match. Claus was in the Germany army during the war and was a prior member of the Hitler youth (note: this was not optional for him). In October 1965, several Dutch newspapers ran advertisements urging readers to sign a petition against approval of the marriage. The petition was signed by several prominent Dutch academics and members of the artistic community. A handful of Dutch Parliament members indicated their plan to vote against the bill. Over 65,000 signatures were on the petition when it was submitted to the Dutch Parliament requesting denial of a bill approving the marriage between Beatrix and Claus due to his military service and association with the Nazi party.
Clausβs military record was carefully examined by Dutch officials in order to identify any objectionable actions on his part. However, the investigation did not discover Clausβ participation in any activities deemed unacceptable for his future role as Beatrixβs consort.
The pair were married on 10 March 1966. Their wedding day saw violent protests, most notably by the anarchist-artist group Provo. They included such memorable slogans as "Claus,

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Iβm a girl who got admitted to a United World College school with a scholarship to pursue my secondary education in a multicultural environment. I study the International Baccalaureate program and this term I got a 41/42 with Math AA, Physics, and English A at Higher Level, Chemistry, Economics and French Self-Taught at Standard Level. I am passionate about STEM. I am the founder and president of the Math and research clubs at my school, as well as VP of the Science For Kids service club. I won an IT and social entrepreneurship regional competition sponsored by Microsoft as team leader, and at another one my team and I, (which I led) made it to international quarter finals, with more than 200 teams competing. I earned a spot at a highly selective US State Department program sponsored by NASA where I received a Data Science course from Virginia Tech University professors and conducted a small research under their supervision. I am a volunteer at an international feminist blog/movement that was recently featured at Expo 2020. Thereβs a bit more to say, and I still donβt know specifically which Ivy to apply to later on, but it would be nice to have your honest opinion and what I can work on in a year to improve.
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Yep, you read that right. Since I couldnβt post in r/Indian_Academia, I might as well let you guys here know my rollercoaster of the last 4 years. Please spare me if I ramble for a few sentences.
In this story later I also show how fucking outdated JEE is, and how the outside system is significantly better than what we have here.
(Mods please donβt delete this post, Thanks :)

So to start off, why the fuck was I going to France in 2017? In an effort to not disclose too much information, my dad had a government job assignment (you can drop me a DM if you are curious) to Paris. Great! I am finally getting to do something 99.9% of Indians never ever have a chance to do. I felt very privileged at the time, to be able to go outside the country along with my family. My dad isnβt exactly super-rich, but he is doing fairly well. Nearly all of our expenses were covered by the embassy in Paris (rent, medical stuff, school etc.), which allowed us to live comfortably and allowed me to go to a really good school. In hindsight, I am still very fucking surprised the Indian government was allowing such a high fees. I could have easily gone to some other local Parisian school for a much lower fees. Anyways, moving on.
Paris, the city of love. People rate it highly for its beautiful architecture, exquisite cuisine, and of course the Eifel Tower. Unfortunately I lost that charm after only living there forβ¦..6 months.
Yes, it took 6 months for me to be sick and tired of the place. There was constant traffic in the city, the smell of cigarettes everywhere, and oh my god the French people were really fucking cocky. If you even dare speak English in front of them, they will give you a glare as if you shat a log in their baguette. Grocery runs were fun :)
Letβs talk about the school. It. Was. Fucking. Massive. Itβs amazing how much space it took up, but at average only 1200 students were enrolled from Classes 1st-12th. In high school (Classes 9th-12th), there were only 400 students. It was actually built on top of an abandoned WW2 airfield, and the hangar was renovated to have two indoor basketball courts. There were no uniforms (except for sports stuff). There was a massive library. You were required to have a laptop, for which the schoolΒ provided free high speed WiFi. A majority of our assignments were computer-based, meaning I was writing essays, making presentations, and watching Pyrocynical with my ma
