Henlo and welcome to another sweet Propagoonda episode!
Today's heroes hail from the distant north. Eager to prove that krabing is not all they do, FRT Feroxes jumped into 1DQ.

We are told confusion ensued when the FRT pilots did not see any enemies on their hud as they had the settings locked to Ratting. Paralyzed by indecision, apparent traffic control and "what do?" mentality, given they were just "testing the waters", they promptly fed and ran away.
PAPI continues to lay siege to 1DQ, and this feed is part of their grand plan to tire, demoralize and bore the goons outs. GF! o7

I graduated a few years ago, and my cousin is going to a different school than I did but is strongly considering going Greek. I want him to join my fraternity and he said he'll look at them if he rushes. So how does it work for him? Will they just take him at his word that he's related to a brother? I've heard of sororities having recommendation letters, but I never encountered that when I was an undergrad.
Theyβre a gender exclusive secret society that largely thinks itself above the common man with a focus on their Brothers first, everyone else second, and even their work to help society is based on a sort of paternalism where they feel they know best compared to the outsiders not in their Chapter.
They recruit like typical rushes, having a period where they scope out a punch of pledges (aspirants) and have them perform a bunch of humiliating and painful and sometimes lethal tasks to see if they deserve even a shot at joining. Once theyβre in, they deal with a longer period of vetting and examination before they indoctrinate their fellows in their Chapter culture and history, coupled with an incredible amount of abuse and forced bonding until they form a brotherly bond created through conflict, and all of it is doused in mysticism and secrecy as no outsiders will ever get to see how a Chapter inducts its new brothers. Theyβre even descended from their own version of Freemasons, the Lodges.

What are the pros and cons of joining a fraternity at iu? I am an incoming freshman and might want to rush my first semester. How hard is it to get a bid? is the rushing process stressful/tedious?
I am about to be a first year at UTM CS this fall and was interested in joining a fraternity. I was wondering if any UTM students actually join frats or sororities downtown and how it feels having to travel for it. If Iβm joining a frat, should I think about doing it in my second year and should I take more courses downtown if Iβm living in a frat house? If you or anyone from UTM is a part of Greek life, please let me know your/their experiences. Thanks!
Going to s&t next year and I was wondering if I could get some info on fraternity reputations like ones with bad rep, excessive partying, stuff like that. Thanks for the help
The only difference is that theyβre not criminalized and are pretty much completely tolerated.
Recently I was dropped from my fraternity the very last week, a day after I got my big. Pretty much everything has been online because of COVID. During my pledge process me and my entire family got COVID and a lot of my family ended up going to the hospital my self included. My grandfather ended up passing away, and the fraternity was the only thing I actually had going for me. This has been one of the worst months in my entire life and I was hoping getting initiated this weekend would make up for it because I was really looking forward to it. They dropped me for lack of motivation in the latter half of my process because brothers felt I wasnβt completely βbuyingβ in to the process. I got no warning, and I was still pretty upset about my grandfather. I definitely donβt think I was the worst pledge and I even had reasoning for my declining motivation. I donβt understand how they can just steal 6 weeks from my life and after everything I went through drop me on the last week.
What would you all consider the most important values in a pnm and what they can bring to the table?
Another rape at another frat house.
βOn Friday, March 19, 2021, a Campus Security Authority (CSA) shared the report of a rape that occurred around 10:30 p.m. on March 16, 2021 at a fraternity house located at 7 Fraternity Dr, Gainesville, FL 32603. The complainant stated that they told the respondent no while the sexual assault occurred and that the advances were unwanted. As the respondent is unknown, the University is unable to take action at this time. Institutional support resources have been offered to the complainant.β
I hope the survivor is getting the support they need.
Iβm going to be a freshman this fall and am rushing to join a fraternity. Iβve been to a few rush lunches/dinners, and have had nothing but good experiences. I know that the rush chairman arenβt necessarily representative of the entire fraternity, so I wanted to get your thoughts on the different fraternities at OSU.
What are their reputations? Are they big partiers, or not? Are they nice guys, or assholes? Are they smart? Are they country guys? Etc.
Iβve seen Greek rank, but donβt trust it because of the self-ranks. Iβve also seen a thread on this from a few years ago, but that may be outdated.
Thanks for your help.
