Hello à tous. Je suis rentré de l’étranger l’an dernier où j’avais l’habitude d’investir en ETF via Vanguard et SAXO. Je me suis donc ouvert un PEA (Boursorama), où le choix d’ETF internationaux est limité.
Et je ne comprends pas pourquoi les frais de management des ETFs français / européens sont aussi élevés?
Vanguard est à 0.03 - 0.05% alors qu’un Amundi est allègrement au dessus de 0.1%. Pourquoi?

Euronext, the company behind the Brussels Stock Exchange and other major European exchanges, is working on additional services for investments linked to crypto currencies like Bitcoin. For example, the stock exchange operator hopes to unpack its own crypto indexes. Prominent figures such as Apple boss Tim Cook or super investor George Soros recently confirmed that they have invested part of their wealth in crypto coins. It suggests that more and more investors see crypto as a way to diversify their financial risks.
Not only among private investors, but also among the big financial players the appetite is growing, Euronext notes. Although the adoption among those institutional investors is rather slow, explained CEO Stéphane Boujnah earlier this week at an investor day in Milan. Many large investors who manage pension or investment funds are taking a wait-and-see attitude. Because they have questions about issues such as cyber security and money laundering risks, or because they are simply not allowed to invest in crypto by their regulator.
But that crypto is becoming more and more mainstream is certain, believes Simon Gallagher, head of cash and derivatives at Euronext. "The diversification aspect of owning crypto has now been clearly demonstrated to the market. Investments in crypto are quietly becoming institutionalized. We think this asset class is here to stay," he explained in Milan.
MiCA in 2024
The year 2024 could be a pivotal one in this regard, as it is when the EU's MiCA (Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation) comes into force, according to current planning. This ambitious framework should give institutional players, such as asset managers or large cash-rich companies, the requested guidance on the many pending legal issues surrounding crypto investments. According to Gallagher, MiCA will become for crypto what the investment directive MiFID is today for classic investments. The clearer the regulatory framework becomes, the more large investors will venture into the crypto world, Euronext expects.
Three priorities
To prepare for 2024, Euronext has three projects in the pipeline:
- Trackers: companies like CoinShares have recently started offering so-called ETPs (exchange traded products) on Euronext that are linked to Bitcoin or Ether. The exchange group says it will also expand its crypto-tracking ETP offerings in the coming years. Such securities simply follow the price of the crypto currency, just as other trackers shadow

This is an EU value stock which I really like.
Hydratec Industries owns several businesses in two main domains:
- Industrial systems
- Plastic components
It is active globally, but it is more of a holding that is known under its daughter companies names.
Industrial systems
This consists of three companies:
- LAN Handling: they design, manufacture and install all kinds of automation systems for the food industry.
- Royal Pas Reform: Hatchery solutions
- Rollepaal: Manufacturer of pipe extrusion equipment (think PVC water pipes, etc...)
Plastic components
This consists of two companies:
- Helvoet: Manufactures high-precision plastic components (car industry, medical purposes)
- Timmerije: Manufactures high-tech plastic components (also car industry,...)
Revenue and earnings
The management did a great job the last years to improve revenue, acquiring new companies and restructuring them, all while keeping debt under control.

At 29th of October, there was a trading update for Q3:

We can thus expect even higher earnings second half of the year.
Why I believe this is undervalued
Let me cite the CEO in the Q3 trading update:
>“Hydratec Industries is heading for a good year, despite the uncertainties in the supply chains, which have been severely disrupted by the pandemic. This has resulted in shortages, price increases and a drop in demand, a situation we expect to continue well into 2022. As a result of both the shortage of raw materials and shortages on the labour market there is an increasing need for process automation and solutions from our operating companies that save on raw materials*."*

NX Filtration (Euronext: NXFIL), the global provider of breakthrough direct nanofiltration technology for pure and affordable water, will be included in the Amsterdam Small cap Index (AScX) on Euronext Amsterdam, effective December 20, 2021. This was announced by Euronext yesterday, following its quarterly review, based on free-float adjusted market capitalisation and liquidity.
Michiel Staatsen, CEO of NX Filtration: “We are proud that NX Filtration will be included in the AScX Index so soon after our listing on Euronext in Amsterdam. This is an important milestone for our company and further increases our visibility in the market. We continue our focus on enabling the production of clean drinking water from polluted rivers, preventing the discharge of all kinds of micropollutants (such as pharmaceuticals, PFAS and nanoplastics) in the environment and reducing the water footprint of our industrial customers.”
The AScX, derived from Amsterdam Small Cap Index, is a free-float market capitalisation weighted index composed of 25 Dutch funds that are listed on Euronext Amsterdam. Eligible companies that fulfil the velocity and free float requirements are ranked based on size.
NX Filtration was listed on Euronext Amsterdam on 11 June 2021.

Wanting to dip my toes in the European market
On Friday 11 June, NX Filtration celebrated its listing on Euronext Amsterdam. To mark this occasion, NX Filtration donated €15,000 to the Water for Life Foundation on behalf of Infestos Foundation. Martien den Blanken, chairman of Water for Life, received this check from NX Filtration’s founder and CTO Erik Roesink last Friday.
Founded in 2016, NX Filtration focuses on enabling clean drinking water production from polluted rivers, preventing the discharge of all kinds of micro-pollutants (such as pharmaceuticals, PFAS and nanoplastics) into the environment and reducing the water footprint of industrial customers worldwide.
Erik Roesink, founder and CTO of NX Filtration, comments: “We are proud to be able to support Water for Life at the occasion of our IPO. With NX Filtration and Water for Life sharing a mission of enabling clean and affordable water across the world, we are confident that this donation will make a contribution to achieving that goal. We thank Infestos Foundation to make this donation available to us.”

The contribution is used for the construction of new water pipes, water points or toilets in poor neighbourhoods.
