There have been rumors of a possible expansion, so let’s imagine it does happen, but the NBA decides to only add one new team to the league (sorry Vegas), bringing back the beloved Seattle Supersonics. The Sonics are back babbyyyyyyyy!
Now the Sonics need to build their team from ground up, starting with the expansion draft, and following it with signing players in the off-season.
Here are some simplified terms of the expansion draft:

3 straight really good nights, let's continue to keep it rolling! As always, the video is unlisted so no need to like or sub. And if you ever feel like my stuff has made you a better player then I will leave my paypal below!
paypal - tory.langley@yahoocom (can't leave a dot between yahoo and com for auto mod reasons)

video will be done once processing finishes
Edit: forgot to clarify in the video, LOVE kevin love if ONLY allen is out
Edit: I will not be around for the early slate. I will only be available for the main slate
Edit: guys, no more posting your full lineups. Most of the time when someone does I never really give feedback I just say it looks “x” 99% of the questions asked are for swaps or 1v1s or 2v2s etc… let’s keep it to just that. Anything goes as long as it’s not your full lineup. I will still be giving out a core of 4 as this is completely within TOS. I don’t want any of you getting banned for asking for advice on a full lineup.
Edit: jimmy and lowry in, huge downgrade to everyone. i still like yurtseven but i am probably off the value. lowry himself is fine!
Edit: edwards in, i like him a lot if hes not limited. downgrade to mcdaniels
Edit: Allen probable, love is probably out of play for me
Edit: reggie jackson will play. he is over priced. also a downgrade to the main 3 LAC guys.
Edit: all of you asking me about birch. I don't trust TOR with how many bigs they have available
Edit: current core, toppin, ibaka, dereck white, lebron
Edit: SGA in, im off ty jerome
Edit: wiggins and watson are both starting for OKC. they are playable for value
Edit: with reggie in im probably off winslow and coffey
Edit: i think yurtseven and martin are still viable fair values
Edit: nwaba starting. playable for value but tate is still there
Edit: toppin starting. hes a must
Edit: allen in and starting. im off love
Edit: ingles out, i think gay looks like a really solid option
Edit: with kemba now out, i think quickley looks great
Edit: mcbride starting over quickley. i like him. quickley isn't a must now
Edit: guys, quickley still looks really good. i just wouldn't be suprised if he only plays 20 minutes
Edit: forrest starting for conley. i still think gay is decent value
Edit: no night or SD tonight for me boys
Edit: not playing night but ill give a core, lebron, reid, gay, dame
Edit: told yall. thibs is a fucking troll.
This post examines eight major Thanksgiving myths, covering these topics.
If you're more interested in watching a video, you can view this same content here.
The only two colonial primary sources of the event, written by Edward Winslow and William Bradford, were lost during the eighteenth century, which contributed to the historical obscurity of the event, and its lack of cultural recognition outside the New England states. I will be drawing on these two primary sources throughout this post, as well as on mainstream scholarly commentary.
The secular festival myth
One common belief is that the 1621 meal was not actually a Christian thanksgiving to God, but was actually a simple meal with which the Pilgrims thanked the local Wampanoag people for helping survive. [1] From a slightly different perspective their 2001 book The Times of Their Lives: Life, Love, and Death in Plymouth Colony, James and Patricia Deetz similarly make the claim that since the Winslow account of the 1621 meal “makes no mention of thanks”, it is “not close enough for us to see the event as the “first Thanksgiving”. [2] Instead, they characterize it as an English harvest festival, of no religious significance.
Historian Jeremy Bangs, who has specialized in the study of the Pilgrims, takes issue with this conclusion, considering it badly founded on insufficient evidence. [3] He points out that even if it was a harvest festival, such occasion were certainly not secular, and were accompanied by prayers. He notes that the Book of Common Prayer the Pilgrims would have taken them from England, actually contains a prayer specifically for a harvest thanksgiving. [4]
Additionally, Bangs observes that Winslow’s thanksgiving account “includes biblical phrases referring to texts whose completion includes thanksgiving”, which would certainly have been known by the other members of the community, and recognized as part of the meal’s fundamentally religious character. [5]
Bangs concludes by writing “We think the Pilgrims should have thanked the Indians”, before adding that it is “still inaccurate to bend the evidence to suggest that the P

My name is Donald Soles, and I'm a Ph.D. student in the philosophy department. In Spring of 2022, I will be a teaching assistant in Eden Lin's 'Engineering Ethics' class, and there's a possibility that in the summer of 2022, I will be teaching the class myself (if enough people enroll). Since you probably don't know anything about me, and since many people check this reddit for information about newer instructors, I thought I'd just take some time to tell you about myself so I'm not just a name on Buckeyelink. (I am really hoping that Buckeyelink won't display my middle name, which is Elwood. Oops, I just told you what it was.)
First, I have a law degree from Regent University, and I passed the bar in Virginia when I was 23. Personally, I found legal studies to be uninteresting, so I was fortunate enough to study philosophy at Texas Tech, where I earned an MA in philosophy. I came to Ohio State in 2019, and now I'm mainly interested in epistemology (particularly norms governing inquiry). I've enjoyed my time at Ohio State a lot, and I have greatly benefitted from working with my advisor.
I have a lot of hobbies. For example, I have been learning Russian for a couple of years now. I'm at a point where I still have a hard time reacting in real-time to conversation, but I find that I can read about 80% of the posts I find on the internet. Hopefully, I'll continue to improve with practice. Second, I really enjoy tasting and brewing pourover coffee. Some of my favorite roasters are Red Rooster, Brandywine, Coava, Black & White, and Onyx. My favorite brewing-method is the Hario v60. I also enjoy collecting allocated bourbons (particularly at retail prices). A couple of bottles that I'm hunting right now include EH Taylor Barrel Proof and Stagg Jr. I also really enjoy using credit cards to generate 'free' (or inexpensive) travel. Right now, I am really enjoying my Southwest Business Performance card from Chase. I have a planted aquarium that is a great source of joy/pain. I diffuse CO2 into my aquarium to help the plants grow more quickly. I'll attach a picture of that. Some of my favorite aquarium plants are Staurogyne Repens, Bronze Crypt Wendtii, and Rotala Indica. I enjoy plenty of other things too, such as playing guitar, listening to metal, running (when it's not cold), and investing. Some people tell me that I have too many hobbies, but I find that having a lot of hobbies helps me somehow connect with people more easily, so maybe it's

We continue our long suffering hunt for the King of Punt – it’s /r/NFL’s own Punt Rank. If you haven’t been here with me before, the concept is both simple and fantastically over-engineered. Lemme break it down:
Punt Heroes rise to the top; Punt Zeros sink to the bottom - it's as simple as that. Last week’s post and Week 11 standings are available here for the archivists, and this week’s update is just moments away.
I’m excited to get your perspectives on your team’s punter, so please hit the comments below with your feedback and questions, as well as pointing out anything you think I missed.
2021 Punt Rank Overall Standings - Week 12
Week 12 Punt Performance Summary
Green highlight - Bye Week. Grey highlight - IR/NWT.
Michael Dickson (SEA, +5 to #12). Dicko Mode has had an exceptionally punty 2021 season to date, driven largely by the Seahawks’ bold and innovative strategy of ignoring those old fashioned first down thingys, and sticking all their money on the leagues’ bendiest (but surprisingly unbreakable) defense. The jury is out on how effective this strategy is from a “not sucking at football” perspective, but from a “getting the ball in the hands of your most electrifying player (sorry Russ) as often as possible” perspective it’s Fucken A. Dickson’s 62 punts in Seattle’s 11 games so far is good for a league leading average of 5.63 punts per game, and his Week 12 MNF outing against the ex-Washington Badwords was even puntier still. Eight kicks in total (on 11 Seattle drives!!) is a tonne of Dick by anyone’s standards, and his 49 yard Net Average (supported by five of eight punts travelling 50 yards or mor

... keep reading on reddit ➡I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
When you first started watching the browns who became your first favorite player to watch? Mine was Kellen Winslow Jr, and Braylon Edwards haha

We’re only two weeks into the start of the 2021-2022 NBA season and we’ve already seen a handful of highlights, thrilling overtime games, and players in mid-season form. Prior to the start of the regular season, we released the list of player ratings for NBA 2K22. Naturally, there were some surprises and some snubs, but with two weeks of games under our belt, we can now reassess the ratings. Let’s break down the most notable changes and the players that are excelling.

It’s early, but right now, Paul George is averaging the most points of his career at 28.3 per game. Expected to carry the Clippers without Kawhi Leonard, PG has answered the call so far this season, even if it hasn’t translated to wins yet. The Los Angeles native has high expectations this season and is viewed by many as a potential MVP candidate. PG is rolling with a full head of steam, let’s see if he can keep it going.

KAT is undeniably one of the best big men in the game and has a knack for scoring from virtually anywhere on the court. It should come as no surprise that he’s posting his typical numbers of 24 points, nearly 10 rebounds, and four assists per game, but what he’s doing from an efficiency standpoint is insane. He’s currently shooting 52 percent from the field and knocking down 50 percent of his three point attempts, let that sink in. Between KAT and Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves might make some noise this year.

Serious question, is there anything Ja can’t do? He can leap over defenders with a single bound, he can speed from one end of the court to the other in the blink of an eye, and he can score at will with a graceful touch. The former No. 2 overall pick is making an early case for Most Improved Player of the Year, posting 28.3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, and 7.7 assists—all career-highs—while hoisting his squad into a legitimate playoff contender year-in and year-out. Morant is a rising star, so it’s only right his rating

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
What did 0 say to 8 ?

So What did 3 say to 8 ?

Which players on your team's roster should they lock in for the year, or longer?
Which players do you wish your team should move on from.
I'm going to go through each team with my opinions. Feel free to tell me why I'm wrong, or share your own opinions, etc...
Atlanta Hawks
Lock in: Trae Young, DeAndre Hunter, John Collins, Kevin Huerter, Cam Reddish, Clint Capela, Danilo Gallinari, Bogdon Bogdanovic, Sharife Cooper, Onyeka Okongwu, Jalen Johnson
Move on: Solomon Hill
Uncertain: Delon Wright, Lou Williams, Skyler Mays, Gorgui Dieng, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
Atlanta is young and good at the same time, there aren't really any actual pieces they should move on from, and tbh there are only a few pieces that wouldn't matter either way. I will point out Solomon Hill as being someone who would only take away minutes from someone more worthy of the playing time. Unless they are absolutely demolished by injuries he probably shouldn't see the floor.
Boston Celtics
Lock in: Jayson Tatum, Robert Williams, Grant Williams, Marcus Smart, Dennis Schroder, Payton Pritchard, Al Horford
Move on: Jaylen Brown, Josh Richardson
Uncertain: Romeo Langford, Brodric Thomas, Aaron Nesmith, Sam Hauser, Jabari Parker, Juancho Hernangomez, Bruno Fernando, Enes Kanter,
Time to get crazy! I hate this roster construction and am of the opinion that Brown and Tatum aren't the ideal fit. I have Boston choosing Tatum over Brown in the long run (I personally like Brown more, but most would want Tatum). Some of the younger pieces with talent and potential stay like Timelord, Grant, and Pritchard, as well as some pieces that are extremely good in what they do in Horford, Smart, and Schroder. Finding better fits around them and focusing on playmaking being the priority would make this tea much better. They move on from Brown in this case to try a different fit from a high caliber player, and Richardson fits the Smart role, and I don't think he would be utilized very well on this roster with Smart already doing what he would be doing, but worse at this point.
Brooklyn Nets
Lock in: Kevin Durant, James Harden, Joe Harris, Bruce Brown, Patty Mills, LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin, Paul Millsap, Cameron Thomas, Jevon Carter
Move on:
Uncertain: Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Bembrey, David Duke Jr., Kessler Edwards, James Johnson, Nicholas Claxton, Day'Ron Sharpe
Nothing wild here for the most part. The Nets have a solid team, the only issue is a
