A list of puns related to "Dispirit"
Remember, the powers that be are in full control of the price. They planned for it to go up today. They will take it back down tomorrow or the next. It will be exhilarating and then heart breaking. They will manage it so that you get you hopes up and then they will move the price to dash those hopes...
Don't let them do that.
Hold fast and keep buying as you can. They control the price, but they don't control the quantities. When we buy shiny, they cannot control that. When we take it out of the system, they lose control, eventually.
They will seemingly control everything until the music stops, until the tide goes out, and then the game will be over and they will be powerless. The price of their paper silver will no longer matter to anyone.
So don't be surprised. Don't be discouraged. Keep stacking and we will win.
It hurts more to me when someone i like likes me back but slowly starts dispiriting than being immediately rejected....
Ah... I needa be strong... Needa be strong for two unit tests next week, two unit projects due also next week and a 10 min presentation....
Welcome to Fresh Metal, where I talk a bit about new, heavy releases. Last Fresh Metal before I'm off on holiday for a small month!
What you may know by now: my metallic detections here are mostly based on what I collect for my blogs on Facebook, To The Teeth, and the playlist I keep on Spotify, where you'll find everything that got a Spotify release, and if I can find Bandcamp/YouTube/Soundcloud links, I'll put them in the text. Here goes Fresh Metal #61.
##Immortality Who knew the rift between Abbath and the rest of Immortal would turn out so great? Now we've got a great Abbath record Γ‘nd a great Immortal record. Speaking of a rift in the metal community, Deafheaven's new record is out next week, but you can hear it in full at NPR so I'm totally counting it for this week. Doomy longform black metal project Dispirit, from Weakling's John Gossard, has a new, hypnotic demo. Burial Invocation released their anticipated debut full length, after breaking necks with an ep and a split with Anatomia. Kontinuum is drifting in dreamy waves of post-black on their third record, and one-man band Doomed is at record number six in as much years. Germany's Lucifer stays close to the Iommian source, Pennsylvania's Secret Cutter make vile doom/sludge and Sleep Terror from Seattle make hard to follow progressive, instrumental death metal. There's a new ep from German death metallers Slaughterday, a first demo from Portuguese black metal band Graves. Underground favorites **[Undergang & Gorephilia]
... keep reading on reddit β‘If, like me, you used Christmas day to temporarily throw out your diet or stop calorie watching, but are now sitting with a bloated tummy and feeling guilty for potentially throwing away all your hard work, donβt give up. Letting loose every now and then isnβt going to ruin your weight loss in the long term. Just get back to it tomorrow and youβll realise it was just one day after all, nothing to lose motivation or feel guilty for.
Just in case anyone needed to see this today.
Offering 2 tickets to see Ruins of Beverast/Dispirit/Yellow Eyes at Barracuda tonight for free. PM me your email address and I will email you the pdf.
I live in Houston and can't go because of a last minute work obligation. I feel a bit salty about it but I want someone else to enjoy the show. Ruins is awesome and they don't tour frequently, and Yellow Eyes is one of my favorite bands!
I'd love it if you'd bought/mailed me a tour shirt but no obligation - enjoy the show!
