A list of puns related to "Constitution Of Malta"
After almost a year after the establishment of the task force to draft the constitution, the final draft of the new constitution has been put to the House of Representatives. Though there has been some rumours circling the internet that the task force was infiltrated by freemasons and other unscrupulous secret societies, these rumours are dumbfounded, according to the Prime Minister. Instead, the Prime Minister promises that this new revitalised, modernised, and streamlined constitution will usher in a new age of peace, prosperity, and tranquility for the Republic of Malta.
The government of Malta has approved a new constitution, with the Nationalist Party leading the vote to approve it, and it shall take into effect immediately, with the changes to the executive and parliament taking place next election cycle, which has been pledged to take place in 2025.

... keep reading on reddit β‘As a reminder, Daphne Galizia was a Maltese journalist who investigated various cases of government corruption (of which she had many to choose), and, most recently, had worked on the Panama Papers.

She was murdered in 2017, when a remotely-triggered bomb blew up her car on a lonely Maltese road.
An international outcry caused the investigation to keep moving, and three alleged Maltese gangsters were arrested in late 2017 - George Degiorgio, his brother Alfred Degiorgio, and their "business partner" Vincent Muscat (who shares the last name, but no known family links, with Maltese prime minister Joseph Muscat, whose government Galizia had been investigating for numerous cases of corruption).
This month, Maltese multimillionaire Yorgen Fenech was arrested as, allegedly, the man who paid the gangsters to plant the bomb. Shortly before the arrest, Fenech had abruptly transferred the ownership of his companies to his brother. He was preparing to escape the island on his luxury yacht when the police arrested him, prompting suggestions that he had been warned by a highly-placed confidante.
This week, Fenech allegedly named the man who ordered the murder: Keith Schembri, Chief of Staff of Malta's Prime Minister and his rumored "best friend" was arrested and resigned his government position.
Schembri, whose wife runs a company which assists rich non-Europeans (primarily Russians and Arabs) in facilitating Malta's notorious Individual Investment Programme (i.e. purchasing European passports issued by Malta for circa 1 million euro per copy), was named in the Panama Papers.

Relying on public transport and being immuno-compromised (I suffer from a rare disorder that doesn't let me sleep - I rely on a cocktail of medicines to get light sleep) I am quite scared of getting coronavirus. Every pharmacy I've called in a 10 mile radius is "out of stock" of protective respiratory masks.
This island is so ill-prepared to tackle the inevitable influx of coronavirus that it's laughable.
12 beds at Mater Dei when we are going to have hundreds if not thousands of cases of the disease is also laughable.
Do you guys think itβs a good idea from a local, expat or tourist perspective?
Seriously considering this at the moment.
