A certain element within the Imperial government and military has begun preparing a coup, to eliminate the threat posed to Southern sovereignty by the Orleanian Empire. It is the intent of myself, General Samuel Ambrose, and a significant amount of the military's staff to instate martial law, and to expediently and fairly execute elections and the founding of a new regime.
The American efforts to encourage secession from the South, long suspected but recently revealed, have driven the nation to a fever pitch, and this dangerous situation must be put under control at the first opportunity. The USA, hungry for more territory after the Midwestern war, is in need of a limiting force, and we are hoping that the USC might agree.
If Columbia could provide some sort of political support for this coup, we feel that any possible armed conflict could be avoided.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
