I fucking hate citrons so much. More than roses, or tv heads. They have a huge strong fast regen shield and they can literally escape in the blink of an eye. This one bitch in giddy park was treating it like an esports tournament for being the biggest dick. He would kill friendlies over and over again, and the second I decide to shoot back he just runs off to his spawn after taking 10 damage. Then he does it again and again. Then he has a sunflower shoved up his ass and brings his entire group to come spawncamp. And ofcourse even with overheal, he gets shot once and fucking runs like he's being chased by a Chinese mom holding a flip flop. I didn't see him die once but I saw him fucking run like a bitch back to his spawn countless times. And may I remind you this was giddy park. Where there is no main objective to be playing so fucking sweaty and toxic for. Idek how to start understanding how these people think. It's a fucking cute plant game why we out here treating it like a damn csgo tourney
If there was one thing in this whole game I'd want removed it'd be Citron. Not only does he have one of the best abilities in the game that can stun for at least 3 whole seconds (EM-Peach), NOT ONLY does he have the best run in the game, BUT HE ALSO HAS 200 HEALTH WITH A 600 HEALTH SHIELD. Plus he can use spindash and Navel Laser which are both powerful weapons which decimate anything bigger than a SB. Citron literally sucks the fun out of the game for me.
Citron, to me, seems like the plant counterpart of BB. He’s so overpowered, he has a 600 health shield that he can regenerate fully in a matter of several seconds. He’s another character that seems to suck the fun out of the game for me. I asked about countering BB a while back and got some helpful answers, so now I’ll ask: how do I counter Citron?
ever since the citron rework, e citron has been called the worst character in the game by many people due to how drastically that nerf changed his playstyle, but he is still quite powerful, if used properly.
the way you play e citron is, close range obviously, a fool proof strategy with e citron is to use a fully charged shot (deals 75 damage ) and the 1st charge which deals 50 damage, to deal 125 hp very quickly, then if the zombie is still alive spam the 1st charge (the uncharged shots arent that good) , and that is how you play e citron, bassically iron citron but more damage and the option to use a full charge shot to start the fight with a burst of damage, in long range his charge shots are still quite good, the fully charged one deals 40 damage at long range, and 25 splash, of course its not even close to what he used to deal before the nerf, but still quite good, overall he is the citron with perhaps the highest skill floor in the game, but once you get the hang of playing him, you'll be able to do well with him, and have people think you are some kind of god for getting vanquish master with him
My friends and some douches decided to have some fun, they started as 11 allstars placing shields everywhere, then to 11 epeas setting a pea geatling tower and than 11 or 10 players as Toxic Citron and it seems the excess of particles has destroyed the server. Nobody can even join in voice chats in PSN, some friends of mine can't even play anything, even the PS5 owners can't, coincidence? I don't think so. Not an urgency, but I found it a funny story nonetheless.
