A list of puns related to "Christy Lemire"
Went to visit RogerEbert.com this morning and was surprised to see this on the front page!

She writes that it's "far and away the best movie of the year." Two of my favorite paragraphs:
"Chalamet and Hammer have just ridiculous chemistry from the get-go, even though (or perhaps because) their characters are initially prickly toward each other: testing, pushing, feeling each other out, yet constantly worrying about what the other person thinks. They flirt by trying to one-up each other with knowledge of literature or classical music, but long before they ever have any physical contact, their electric connection is unmistakable. Lazy poolside chats are fraught with tension; spontaneous bike rides into town to run errands feel like nervous first dates."
"But Oliverβs evolution is just as crucial [as Elio's], and Hammer finds the tricky balance between the characterβs swagger and his vulnerability as he gives himself over to this exciting affair. Heβs flirty but tenderβthe coupleβs love scenes are heartbreaking and intensely erotic all at onceβand even though heβs the more experienced of the two, he canβt help but diving in headlong."
Critics Consensus: A sequel aimed squarely at fans of the original's odd couple chemistry,Β Venom: Let There Be CarnageΒ eagerly embraces the franchise's sillier side.

Sample Reviews:
Overseeing it all is Serkis, who understands the technology required to get the necessary virtual performances better than almost anyone, but demonstrates almost no vision as a director. - Peter Debruge, Variety
Though it will please most fans of the 2018 first installment, Carnage proves that superhero fatigue applies to nonheroes as well. - John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter
Let there be lots more carnage. - William Bibbiani, TheWrap
It's hard to overstate just how much the relative success of this film comes down to Hardy and his go for broke performances as Eddie and Venom. Original Score: 2.5/4 - Lindsey Bahr, Associated Press
This sequel inhabits the same comfortably dumb space as its predecessor. If you liked the first one, you'll like this one. Original Score: 3/4 - Kristen Page-Kirby, Washington Post
it's not the promised spectacle that cements "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" as touching, wild entertainment. It's the themes of home, love, and companionship that make Serkis' sequel another reason to want more "Venom" movies, and quickly. - Robert Daniels, Los Angeles Times
The fine actors onscreen are mere accessories to the computerized puppets thrashing and slashing and stabbing and biting and roaring and breaking stuff all over the place before only one of them is left standing. Sigh. Original Score: 2/4 - Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times
It's the worst movie Tom Hardy ever made. It's the worst movie Woody Harrelson ever made. And it's the worst movie Michelle Williams ever made. Original Score: 0/4 - Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle
It's short, cheap looking and maybe made for 8-year-olds. It's only fun if your idea of fun is being screamed at by a demon voice while staring at a mishmash of special effects for an hour and some change. Original Score: D - Adam Graham, Detroit News
The picture's stylistic excesses... leave the viewer feeling pulverized by the time the closing credits roll. **Original Sc
... keep reading on reddit β‘Wondering if any Blankies have seen/have thoughts on Martin Campbell's The ProtΓ©gΓ©, starring Maggie Q, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael fucking Keaton and opening today?! My expectations were nil given the release-day review embargo and absolute dearth of buzz (I've been going to at least a movie a week since being fully vaxxed in mid-May and have seen zero trailers for this in all that time) but there was a post here about the trailer a few weeks ago and the reviews are giving off some pretty strong Those Who Wish Dead vibes:
With the cool top-billed cast, a good action director in Martin Campbell, and my affection for capable and decently-reviewed action-thrillers, I'm leaning towards seeing this over Reminiscence this weekend (going to The Night House later today but will probably see another movie tomorrow or Sunday). Feels like Lionsgate is just dumping this but I dunno, I'm intrigued. Thoughts from anyone who's seen it? Worth a watch, or should I ignore the negative reviews and mediocre trailer and give the original sci-fi/noir Reminiscence a shot instead?
Do your worst!
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.

This morning, my 4 year old daughter.
Daughter: I'm hungry
Me: nerves building, smile widening
Me: Hi hungry, I'm dad.
She had no idea what was going on but I finally did it.
Thank you all for listening.
There hasn't been a post all year!
